How did this spiral from Good songs in to a band debate?

Zep and Black Sabbath were my teenage companions for real. I’d sit in my room and plug in my Dad’s old guitar into a shitty amp and play along to “When the Levee Breaks” and “Sweet Leaf” and shit like that.

As for the Beatles, hell I never even listened to the white album till JZ came out with the Black album and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

That’s where I stand on the Beatles.

If you had a chance to see them live in the 70’s, you know what I mean. You may ( please notice I said MAY since I am partial to Zep ) have had the greatest rock guitarist, rock singer and rock drummer on stage at the same time. And J.P. Jones on bass/keyboards was no slouch either.

My man Roberto won a grammy last night. Stuck it to all of them. And the song was written by him and Page to boot.

They both amaze the shit out of me. Little Wing is so good it makes me want to fucking cry. GGHT is so awesome it immediately improves my mood by the time it gets into the first instrumental. Whatever problems I had just seem a lot more manageable or inconsequential after I listen to that song. The power of music I guess.
