Damn, it sucks! Who can produce a shit like that?
For me the best fight scene ever is in the rush of “The Game of Death” with Bruce Lee, “[…] a master at work”.

FUCK YEAH!
such an obscure film haven’t seen it
in years and have to check it out again
that’s if you can find it.
my fav, is “enter the dragon” when he finds the prisoners, and game of death
three fights.
Barton
“They Live” is a great movie. Piper actually did a decent job of acting.
Best fight scenes ever (plural because there are so many) are from any of the Jackie Chan original “Police Story” movies. Subtitled. Best ever.

That gave me flashbacks of the “karate” fights my friends and I would stage back in 6th grade. We made homemade nunchucks out of broom handles and rope. We’d practice our moves (none of us had ANY training, just watched a lot of “Kung-Foo Theater” on TV) and go around the block having fights for the neighborhood kids. We were big time.
“Life’s a bitch…and she’s back in heat”. Piper delivers. SWEET!
I think I would have just put the stupid glasses on instead of getting an ass beating like that.

I like your thinking Zap. I’ll take your ‘They live’ and raise you a ‘Big Trouble in Little China’ though. It is in fact the pinnacle of human achievement, I doubt even a cure for cancer could topple it. [/quote]
Great movie. I haven’t thought about that in a while but now I have an urge to see it right now.

“I’m here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. And I’m all out of gum”
Best fight scenes are in The Last Dragon. Now, when I say, “Who’s da mastah?” you say, “Sho’nuff!”
Best fight scene…now that’s a toughie…What about the Kill Bills? Seeing Uma, (FINE) kick some ass makes a good fight scene in my book.
If you’re into crappy fights like this, try “Story of Ricky”.
It’s the best (cheesy) splatter martial arts movie HANDS DOWN.
The fight Lee vs Norris in Way of the Dragon is indeed one of the very best.
But what about armed fighting?
Here’s my top 5, in no particular order:
“Tiger & Dragon”: fight between the two ladies in the armory.
Cool idea, great choreography.
“Assassins”(the chinese one): fight between the two protagonists at the abandoned hut.
Not too fancy and unrealistic, like many other chinese flics.
“Troy”: fight between Achilles and Hector, as well as Achilles storming the beach with his Myrmidons.
You may think the movie is too much of a chick flic, but it shows quiet clear that good actors can produce better fight scenes than “real” martial artists if the script is good.
pretty much anything Andy Lau does with a sword. It’s a shame the guy doesn’t do MA movies anymore but sings stupid tearjerkers.
the showdown in “Blade III” between the hero and Drake.
Technique vs Strength. Neat.
we are a little bit dumber for having seen that.
You guys should see ONG BAK… its the best martial arts flick i have ever seen!
Godzilla vs Monster X. Best. Throwdown. Ever.
The final sword fight in Rob Roy. The boxing scenes in Raging Bull.
“Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” had great fight scenes.
“Hero” was great too.

Best bit is when he punches that guy and breaks his specs, priceless.

The great thing about Jackie Chan fights is that they are funny and he does all of his own stunts.
