Greatest Character in History of the Motion Picture?

definitely verbal in the usual suspects. at the end when the cop realizes what verbal has done, how he conned him completely, and then verbal goes from his retarded walk to walking with a purpose its a classic movie moment.

Steven Baldwin as Barney Rubble in viva rock vegas.

Samuel L in Pulp Fiction!

Yeah Bryan, Predator is my favorite movie, well, either that or Broken Arrow. Jesse Ventura was da man, funniest scene, when he offers the chewing tobacco to everyone in the helicopter and everyone says no he’s like “Bunch of slack jawed faggots around here! This stuff’ll make you a god damn sexual tyranosourus, like me.”

i also liked “suckers dug in like an alabama tick.” i just always thought that sounded cool for some reason. jesse was also great and really cracked me up in the running man.

Tony Montana in Scarface. Hannibal Lechter in Silence of the Lambs.

The ultimate chracater, without a doubt, was the Outlaw Jose Wells!!! A guy looking to bring in Jose remarks to Wells that he makes his living as a bounty hunter or whatnot. To which Jose replys with squinted eyes and clenched jaw “Dying aint much of a living boy.” Oh damn, maybe Fist Full of Dollars. I love that scene where the thugs are laughing at him because he tells them to apologize to his horse. That is a visceral scene

JOE DIRT! Gotta love the mullet and sideburns! DEUCE BIGALOW, and of course, Sean William Scott as Stiffler.

Come on guys, we gotta give it to Connery as Bond but as a close second, how could nobody have nominated Kurt Russell as Big Jack Burton from Big Trouble in Little China.

definitely boris the blade-aka boris the bullet dodger from Snatch

Martin my man!!! I was just lurkin from the start of this thread until you said it… THAT MOVIE IS THE BEST. “Howdy Ma’am, Henry Swanson’s my name, and excitements my game”

Dirk Diggler

jerry maguire’s pretty cool, but everyone in snatch is the best

Austin Powers, yeah baby!

Actor born to play the role:

Bella Lugosi – Dracula

Sargeant Hartman played by R. Lee Ermy in Full Metal Jacket. “Your so ugly you could be a modern art masterpiece”

Indiana Jones, without a doubt…

John Wayne as Rooster Cogburn in “true grit” or Clint Eastwood in “the outlaw Josie Whales”. Two original badass characters.

Boris Karloff as “Frankenstein.”

Beli Legusi as “Dracula.”

Marlon Brando as “Vito Corleone” in “The Godfather.”

Marlon Brando as “Stanley Kowalski” in “A Streetcar Named Desire.”

Four From the “Wizard of Oz”: Judy Garland as “Dorthy”; Ray Bolger as “The Scarecrow”; Bert Lahr as “The Cowardly Lion” and Margaret Hamilton as “The Wicked Witch.”

Vivian Leigh as “Scarlett O’Hara” and Clark Gable as “Rhett” in “Gone With The Wind”.

Agree with Sean Connery as "Bond…James Bond…

Sigourney Weaver as “Ripley” in the “Alien’s” series.
