Grapefruit contains compounds called furanocoumarins that inhibit an enzyme in the liver called CYP3A4. This enzyme helps break down Cialis in the body. When grapefruit is consumed with Cialis, the enzyme is blocked, leading to higher levels of Cialis in the bloodstream.
It reacts with many other meds too… any info on AAS?
I would assume that, since the grapefruit is affecting the liver, and it’s ability to process the compound… There would be an effect with most medication‘s.
Just curious, if eating some grapefruit would give you more bang for your buck…
