*When you confront a woman about something and she has literally no ability to acknowledge there’s an issue
And for just people in general, people who love to dish it out, whatever it may be, but can’t handle even the slightest bit back are some of the most selfish/worst human beings I have ever met.

Could she have concocted this story based on what she’s able to look up on the internet in about an hours time? sure…but at least it’s plausible.

Okay, that sounds good, especially if she gave you that explanation right away without any time to concoct something. The “Maria” connection pretty much clinches it as a truthfull explanation.
Now, how are you going to recover from the creepster vibe you’ve given her by spying on her. I would suggest you characterize it as a purely business like due diligence before marriage. Something like the way a prenup needs to be approached.

I have lost track of things a bit over this really long thread, I don’t remember what she said when you first brought this up to her, but I don’t believe it was this new version? What did she say the first time you brought this up, and if it was something different, why? I also don’t see how this explains the car being left there overnight?
I thought you said it was there overnight. Unless she is sleeping at her friend Priscillas, who is having trouble with Carlos, and parking her car at her moms friends house, who is never there, because there are always so many people at Priscillas, lol, honestly just writing it out, sounds like total BS. What do I know, but sounds like someone worked backwards from point B to point A. You’ve given her so much time, she could have invented any story by now, and have the other people in place to back it up.
The whole situation seems like a mess. I hope things work out for you, if it were me I don’t think I would feel resolved with the current situation.
