As we often hear ad nauseum the government needs to get out of the way and let the private sector take over. Most reasonable people understand that some amount of government is needed once a population reaches a certain size. Society is made up of all kinds, and order is paramount to society’s survival.
Total government control is no different that anarchy big picture, as it pertains to the individual. Both situations end poorly for the average Joe. Tranny and oppression by those with more resources, which equate to power.
So the best bet is to advocate for as local (which would require it to be small) government as possible, with as little power over the people and markets as possible to help curb corruption, with as many checks and balances as possible, while avoiding pure democracy.
