Gotta Love Texas

I was down in Houston a couple of days ago for the 2nd time and it never ceases to amaze me how great the state is, how friendly the people are and just how nice the overall city is. I am very impressed, would live there in a heartbeat.
I stayed in Suggerland at the new Marriot, very nice. I stopped by a Gym on I59.They waved the $20.00 drop in fee.
Anyway, Hats off to Houston, Texas!

Harley

My home town, gotta love it. I love living their and hope i can stay there for the rest of my life and raise my family there. Great city, tons to do, and nice people and large portion of famil there and a low cost of living with a good job market

yep love it, its my home town, great place

Sweet! If you’re ever back here down on the SE side, give me a holler PM or E-mail. I’ve got a pretty cool home gym. Better than what you’ll find commercially.

Loud music, heavy weights, cursing and sweat!

Wow, a Canadian loving Houston? Harley what’s your problem?! I guess if you’re one of the 14 “right wing nutjob” (taken from JibJab) Candians in existence, then yes, Texas is indeed to place for you.
Just kidding guys!
I’ve been living here for a year and have never even been downtown Houston (medical centre excepted). I will say for the record that living on Galvetraz sucks.

Harley, what did you find to be so different from Edmonton?

Cheers

yes…Texas is awesome (especially Dallas)

Don’t get me wrong, I am a true Canadian and even more a devoted Albertan. I love my Country!

David… Houston is like Calgary or Edmonton to the power of 10. It is very clean and well kept. There is an abundance of 2 of my favorite things. Pretty girls that have awesome personalities and Money!
I like the city and the country.
Lots of places to eat and drink! e.g.
Ate at “Sams Boat”… got drunk…and then got hit on. What a day!

Matt… I will definatly give you a call.
“Loud music, heavy weights, cursing and sweat!”…kinda sounds like a bar I used to visit in the Yukon. Except “heavy weights” should be “Heavyweights” which descibes 90% of the girls there!!

I hear that most Texans want to live in Auston…is that true?

I have travel to the lesser known places in the US but Texas so far is my fav. How many of you Texans have been to Alberta?

Thanks for the replies…

Harley

Oh…did I mention the girls? Hotter than the weather!
