What is going on in this forum lately? For the past few months(at least), the BB forum has been polluted with newbs/tough guys/MMA guys/super athletes and whoever else feels that they need to enlighten this forum with their DOGMATIC opinions.
Apparently all the successful people on here don’t have any clue as to what they are doing and need to be put in their place.
I have been reading this forum for a while, although I have only recently created an account. So I am aware of what has been going on here.
Threads that focus on the SAME OLD TOPICS seem to be created on a daily basis. The usual suspects are:
-TBT is better than splits.
-Compound lifts are more “functional” and all that you need. Isolation exercises suck.
-Anyone weighing over 220lbs is fat and non-functional.
-150lb MMA guys always go around beating up 250lb+ bodybuilders just for shits and giggles.
Luckily, the mods have been on top of it and have been locking out these threads before they get worse and out of control.
Why are these trolls constantly logging on and starting trouble? Why do they feel the need to shun bodybuilding training methods and state how Olympic lifting, kettle bells and other “hardcore” methods are superior. WHY DO YOU THINK TRAINING FOR MMA IS THE BEST WAY FOR A BODYBUILDER TO TRAIN? They are different sports with different goals.
Bricks’ Bodybuilding Bible and the Prof X thread have more than enough information in them to answer most bodybuilding questions.
I created this thread as an attempt to discourage all these trolls from posting and to finally end this nonsense. I feel that my efforts will fall on deaf ears.
If you’ve been reading these boards for a while now, you’d realize that everytime the boards go to crap someone starts a thread just like this, and it never changes a damn thing.
So what the hell is your point? That you’re one hardcore motherfucker?

How many times must we discuss the same topics?[/quote]
your pretty much doing what you say you don’t want going on in the forums right now…
You want to see a real degradation of a forum? Visit Sherdog forum or any major MMA forums for that matter. Ive been a K-1 and Pride FC since 04 and seeing it from the “Golden Age” to eventual fall of Pride FC to the “TUF” Era and then now. let me tell ya,from the span of 6 short years,Ive seen an influx of “Quanity” over “Quality” post and it was disturbing.
No more talk about training or meaningful discussion about fighters or events,it was just the same old crap from more stupid people. You should feel good that very few people are actually interested in BB or Weight lifting because you will get quality poster…otherwise you will have a whole crop of trolls and morons. People like you on this site as well as a few Vets are a bunch of babies if you think a few new members mean that this site has gone to hell.

I can’t tell you how many “THIS PLACE IS FALLING APART!” threads I’ve read over the past five years.
And truthfully, it’s not about who’s posting here now, it’s about who’s not posting anymore… and that’s a shame.
