Good Test Booster?

A few days after christmas I’m going to load up on a big supplement order so I can have a good winter/spring lifting. I have my main things ( mass gainer, post workout, off day protein, night time muscle feeder, and pre workout ) My numbers haven’t gone up neither has my size so I’m looking to get a test booster and creatine.

I’ve heard mixed things about MHP T-Bomb and others. What are some of the better test boosters out there in terms of getting bigger and stronger

Carbolin 19 works pretty well for me. Good for recomps.

DAA, Avena Sativa, and vitex also seem to work well for me too.

Teenagers should not take Test boosters. Period.

Get your food in order (figure out a way to eat well 7 days a week, not 4), stock up on your protein, workout shakes, creatine, and fish oil, but skip the Test boosters.

I concur. Adding a t-booster will do nothing for someone young who already has peaking testosterone levels. Food, however, will always result in gains.

Have you tried rubbing some dirt on the affected area?

I knew there would be the “Teens shouldn’t take test boosters” but I want to take creatine but 2 of my friends took it and said they had the worst headaches and it didn’t work that well

Um. How’s your diet? How’s your training?

Neither test boosters nor creatine are magic, especially if you’re not already making gains from your current diet and training.

There’s a reason for that. We’re not talking out our asses just to bother you.

Creatine works for the overwhelming majority of people, but there are “non-responders” who don’t seem to notice the physical benefits. That should have nothing to do with headaches though. Very odd that two unrelated dudes would both have that kind of reaction. My instinct is that it wasn’t just from the creatine itself.

diet’s good. grilled chicken,steak,eggs,nuts,protein ( Myozene, MHP up your mass, ON hydro-whey ),fruit,veggies,salmon, Supreme Protein bars. Training wise I do strongman. bench/squat/ 2 accessory lifts on monday, wednesday i do deadlift, overhead clean/press and 2 accessory lifts. friday i do farmers walk, circus dumbbell and squat. All 3 workouts with lower back,core, and ab work. I’m highly considering creatine, any specific brand or how to cycle it and how much water to get each day with it?

If your diet’s good, you shouldn’t really be stalling in strength or size.

Deload. Eat some carbs/more in general. Sleep more/better. You won’t need test-boosters

ive found making sure i have adequate vitamin D levels to trump most test boosters ive tried. i still test boosters in cycles occasionally for a bit, but i noticed the biggest boost from simple vitamin d.

Not only dont you need test-boosters but they also wont work on you most likely, so waste of money.

Probable reasons of not gaining strength:

  1. not enough sleep/regurarl sleep. You are still growing,too.
  2. not training regurarly/properly
  3. eating too little. You are growing height too, and brain evolving.
  4. Do you play other sports alot like soccer?
  5. alcohol abuse?

I get good sleep, I stick to my workout all the time and do it all 3 days, eating too little might be a problem especially with my size I’m gonna work on that, no other sports just strongman training all year, and no I only drank like 3 times

Your friends probably found a correlation between creatine and their headaches because they aren’t drinking enough water (with it and in general). It can definitely dehydrate you a bit. I’ve also found it better to take just 5 grams (1 big tsp.) a day, every day, instead of cycling it and worrying about “loading doses” and such.

Diet is going to be the most important as everyone else already mentioned. I’ve read that getting about 25 to 30% of your cals from fat is the most conducive to supporting testosterone production, then about 1g per lb of bodyweight of protein and the rest from carbs. Total calories would be just the regular old Harris-Benedict formula with + or - depending on your goals. I’ve done that for a few months now and it seems to be working pretty well… Hard to tell though since I don’t get T levels checked or anything…

I wouldn’t really worry about hormone levels though at a young age, just eat and lift… ZMA can’t hurt though, as long as you don’t OD on zinc (you’ll know you’re taking too much when your muscles start spasming) if you take that I wouldn’t take a multi that has too much zinc.

Alright thanks for the info, the creatine I’m buying already says 5g a day not all the cycle stuff
