Good Spanish Music

I’m looking for GOOD Spanish music, not artists that are Spanish and make English speaking music.

Modern rock would be cool.

Hip hop would be cool, not raggaeton.

And I’m looking for not so popular shit.

Makano

Daddy Yankee

Shakira('s pictures only)

Rodrigo Y Gabriela’s Video ‘For Diablo Rojo’

Tres Coronas, probably the most high profile Latin gangster rap there is.
My favorite hip hop group ever honestly.

Ya I hate Reggaeton, I know a few other good Latino hip hops, but that one is musically the most approachable.

dudes come on

hip hop:

calle 13
los violadores del verso

Rock:

Heroes del silencio
soda stereo
los fabulosos cadilacs

There are many genders you can try: merengue, salsa, bachata, cumbia, son.

AR

Good shit. Wordplay is tight.

I second Heroes Del Silencio

Rap: Arma Blanca, Natch Scratch.
Rock: Candy 66

Chingon

Tito and Tarantula

Mana ( I think someone might have already mentioned them)

Jaguares

Elefante

Juanes

Molotov (Some of their songs have English lyrics mixed in with the Spanish)

Caifanes

Probably not the genre you’re looking for, but I HIGHLY recommend listening to Sketches of Spain by Miles Davis. It’s based on Concierto de Aranjuez by the Spanish composer Rodrigo, but the two best songs on the album, in my opinion, are Davis’ own compositions: Saeta and Solea. This is an absolute must-have album.
