Good Source for Cheap Labs

Several people have asked me who i use for my blood work. i use a direct service that emails the results to me. Go to health-tests-direct.com and you can order any test or panel of tests you want. They refer you to a local draw clinic and the results are sent directly to you, so no doctor to freak out if your testosterone level “happens” to be a little high.

I use the mens health panel once a year it test the following:
MEN?S GENERAL HEALTH BLOOD TEST PANEL- $170.00
Panel includes: CBC (HGB, HCT, RBC, WBC, Platelet Count) $35
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (albumin, alkaline
phosphatase, ALT (SGPT), AST (SGOT),
bilirubin (total), calcium, carbon dioxide,
chloride, creatinine, glucose, potassium,
protein (total), sodium, urea nitrogen (BUN) $20
TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) $35
Urinalysis w/microscopic $20
Lipid Panel (Cholesterol HDL, total cholesterol,
triglyercides, Cholesterol/HDL, LDL, VLDL
calculations) $35
C-Reactive Protein (high sensitivity CRP) $28.50
PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen/screen $45

                                  Testosterone-Total $30.00

Individual test cost: $248.50 Panel cost: $170 Panel saves you $78.50

So as you can see for $170 you can get a very comprehensive report.

Very nice of you to post that. Thanks.

Real good deal, thanks for the tip dude.

good stuff, morepain. too bad the free testosterone test cost another hunnie.

thanks man, good stuff

I had my blood test order sent in by my physician to a local hospital last January. I got my blood drawn and got a lot of tests run of course.

Did you know they charged my insurance company roughly $1200 for the test?! Luckily the insurance company only had me pay $2 for the procedure on my part, but dammmmmn!

$170 is a far cry from $1200 - and it wasn’t even as comprehensive as the one detailed above!

This looks like the way to go!

It’s VERY likely that certain states won’t participate. I’ll be looking into this one though. However, NJ, NY and a few others are known for being assholes about things like this.
