Back at today. Split jerk is feeling solid. Definitely will be making some serious gains here with more repetition. I’m ready to start the Coan-Phillippi DL routine too. Was kind of disappointed just how shitty my deadlift from the floor really is. I think if I can get it up into the 500 range, then I’ll see some serious gains with the rest of my lifts.

Also, one of my training partners gave me some of the Brian Shaw Stone sleeves. It’s so nice to not have the duct tape slide down my arms when I sweat. Also, only have to clean the tacky off my hands when I’m done. Badass. And one helluva free ($120 retail) gift. I’m not going to say no, and I’m definitely thankful.
