Going to See Endocrinologist for PCT After Stopping TRT

some say endo’s do not have that trt knowledge and they may fuck yourself up.

$1200-$2000 per year is cheaper than any walk-in clinic, you will soon learn insurance is useless for your TRT, you will usually always get dumb doctors because the intelligent doctors would never accept the low rate, low pay insurance companies will pay out.

Endocrinologists don’t specialize in TRT, they usually specialize in a different area of medicine. If a doctor has plans to specialize in TRT, he will elect to skip managed healthcare altogether and work in anti-aging or sports medicine.

I am agree with you totally. No doubt trt needs its own doctor. gotta call defy tomorrow.

Defy Medical specializes in TRT, thyroid, peptides, growth hormone etc…

Defy Medical PA Mike and nurses Jill could run circles around most endocrinologists. Dr. Saya and Dr. Calkins are top notch!

Man do u have any idea how much time does it take for me to get back to my previous version? Lol

It depends on the endo. TRT specialists are usually endos or urologists. The trick is to find a decent one. Defy seem pretty good, but there are pluses to someone local sometimes too. Personally, I like former Army docs, they’re usually reasonable.

thats the point of having a good doc locally. gotta make a decision fast. i hate these down feelings.

for now i am about to do two more shot of test cyp 100 mg to find a good doc.

Are you insured?

Don’t find an endo. Find a trt or HRT specialist. If he says “I’m an endo “ in his website don’t use him. If his entire business is focused on HRT you found something good. Now just hope he really is good and doesn’t neglect free t and give baby dosages.

@physioLojik is an endo, and would be excellent to go to for treatment, but he’s not in Missouri. So, “Don’t find an endo” isn’t necessarily good advice.

Yeah i am. But i doubt if my insurance cover this. I found “mantality health clinic”. They are based on Missouri. And they are totally a trt clinic. But in the case of their quality i do not know anything. What should i do? They say they accept insurances. I dont know how professional they are.

Call Dr. Keith Nichols at www.tier1hw.com he is my doc and is all over the web with videos. You have to fly out and see him one time and he can prescribe you anywhere in the country after that one visit for the rest of your life.

It’s a one day trip. Fly out, meet and discuss, and fly back with several months supply of T. He does cream and injections.

If you can’t afford or fly out to see him call Defy medical . Unlike most clinics you actually get to talk to the doctor. They are a clinic and more retail. So don’t expect all inclusive. You pay to talk to the doc after the first consult and I think the 6 week checkup.

With dr. nichols it’s constant contact and he will answe any question you need using their client portal. Leave a message and he respond quick. You don’t have to keeep paying. Only meds after the annual fee.

That’s kind of the difference between docs and food clinics.

Most clinics out there are no bueno. They are in it for the money and over charge. They don’t really customize solutions per patient and most of their nurses are brain dead. They will not be suited to finding the root of problems. Some of them don’t even let you talk to a doc. Like the one I used previously.

If you find some trt docs in Missouri let us know. Link us to their sites and we will have a look and help you gauge their proficiency. I would also look on the internet to see if they have written any articles, videos or accolades and colleague reviews.

Just remember any mechanic can do an oil change. But not every mechanic can work in a Ferrari or a BMW. Sure it seems simple but use the wrong filter or oil and it’s a big mistake.

Same goes with docs. Treat your body like a million dollars and don’t let anything but the best near it. Do your due dillegance and educate yourself to the best of your ability sir.

True true. But generally speaking most are just ill equipped. Let’s hope the endocrin society or board changes their tune and adds more Hormone education… would be cause to celebrate if they did.

I like the fact that you should treat your body like more than million dollars. I am agree with you totally. I wonder if he accept me over the phone or he is able to make video call. If that is i would be happy but if it is not i will flight there and will meet him forsure. But kindly ask you to check out the “mantality health clinic” please. Are they knowledgable in this matter? If you also can do a search in Missouri for me for other clinic or doctors i highly appreciate it man.
Peace.

Mantality Health Clinic
TRT is administered through the muscle by a licensed medical staff member.

So everytime you need another injection, you have to get in your car, drive down to the clinic and have a doctor administered, fu** that!

So what should i do after 6 weeks? How can i get rid of exess estrogen and how can i get my own testosterone level back to the track?
Does running Nolva after that 6 weeks restart my system?

I doubt it. Im gonna give them a call and realize if that is the case.

After 6 weeks you get your bloods done and see how you feel. Though at 6 weeks you may not feel much diff, maybe a bit better but its still early. You can adjust your dose from there.

At this dose and frequency you wont have any “excess” estrogen. No need for an AI.

TRT is for life. You don’t cycle it. Restarting your system will only put you back to where you started.

Real quick, I combined your threads into this one since they’re all related.

There was zero reason to start 4 different threads in 2 days about your PCT and symptoms. Having everything spread out was only more confusing to everyone. Keep the info about your treatments here.
