Hit up a Rock & Brew if you’re near one. The food and atmosphere were pretty awesome. We went to the one in El Segundo.

If you like beer and you actually go here, go to the El Segundo brewing company, amazing IPAs I know a lot of other good breweries in different areas but I’m not sure you like beers…
Los Feliz Griffith observatory for a hike up to the Hollywood sign is awesome. Santa Monica and Marina Del Rey are also great places to walk around.
I drove down from the Redwoods to San Diego last week and went down the 1 after I hit San Fran when it split off the 101. The drive was not very exciting mainly due to the weather. It was very cloudy and the haze and mist blocked most of the views to the sea. I guess the drive can be great if the weather cooperates.
Tubing the sac river in Chico. (Chico is also Home of the Sierra Nevada Brewery.) You gotta do it once in your life.

Sure, I can appreciate a good beer so don’t hesitate to shed your knowledge!
I had some bomb ass Persian food last week, in Glendale called Raffi’s Place. Portions were ridiculously huge and really good.

I’ve only done it in the wintertime when the weather is more apt to be clear. I’ve heard it stays socked in most of the summer.[/quote]
Ahh, I see. Oh well. The rest of the weather was outstanding on my trip, especially in the Redwoods.
