Godsmack/ Rob Zombie Concert

Just got back from the Shinedown/Godsmack/Rob Zombie concert in VA. FUCKING BEST CONCERT EVER. All three bands are phenominal live. They sound better in concert than on their CD’s.

Rob Zombie was great and had some good pyro mixed with THE HOTTEST DANCERS EVER. Like seriously…The dilema was “Do I mosh or do I stare at the hot dancing chick?” Then I got knocked on my ass…I think the pit actually stopped moving at one point just to stare, though.

Gsmack was great. It was my second time seeing them, but this time was amazing. Sully brought out anouther ENTIRE drum set and they had a fucking intesnse jam session.

All in all, it was great. I moshed all night. My body hurts. I’m going to bed.

God Smack puts on a great show. Sully did the same thing with the drums when I saw them two years ago (I think) with Metallica. I am going to see Rob Sept. 11th

Sounds great Zombie rocks. Just Imagine if Type O Negative was on that bill.

Rob Zombie is performing in CT on tuesday… I’m trying to win tickets, the show is sold out :frowning:

On the same note, I just scored two tickets to see Tool play at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, NJ.

Anyone who is a Tool fan or has seen them play live before could understand how much excitement I have been since I got them.

Great, enjoy the show. Godsmack, Zombie, Type O Negative, Tool, Shinedown, that would be a ultimate show.

I heard Godsmack for the first time this summer and just loved them. Never heard of Shinedown though. How do they compare to Godsmack?

Damn you!!! I messsed up the day the were supposed to go on sale, went on Ticketmaster the next day and they were already sold out!

On another note, tell me that a good circle pit is not some serious HIIT.

godsmack have a good sound. especially live. their songs are pretty boring but i’ll take good sound anyday.

I don’t really agree with you there, Godsmack just doesn’t do it for me. The three greatest concerts that I’ve been to (in no particular order)

White Zombie and Pantera
Type O and Pantera
GNR in St. Louis, the one that Axl jumped into the crowd and started a minor riot. It was insane.

good to hear! I got tickets for when they come to CA on the 1st

What!! you don’t agree with me, you bastard. Guess you must be wrong, haha. I didn’t list them in the order of who I like, not that it matters. I’d take Zombie and Type O over Godsmack anyday. To me Godsmack is like a smaller tamer brother of the other two. I like em, they’re not as good as the others IMO.

Man those must’ve been great shows, lucky bastard, good on you. Now there’s a line up I’d love to see, Zombie, Type O, Pantera,GNR, see now Godsmack and Shinedown would be good on that bill. Maybe some gold ole’ Iron Maiden to boot.

That was my third time to see Godsmack and second time for RZ. GS is great live.

I have Tool tickets for next Monday!

I didn’t really know Shinedown’s stuff till I heard them playing it last night. They play that “staring down the barrel of a .45” song etc. And they have a great live sound. The same goes for Godsmack and Zombie.

The pit was crazier durring Zombie, but Godsmack has the ability to mesmurize you or pump you up. It’s a cool combination.

And yeah, I got more conditioning work done in the pit than I have in months.

If you are talking about the concert at Nissan, I was working there selling beer. Definetly awesome and wild time.

Again, you lost me when you brought up Godsmack…but then you brought me back with Maiden. Or how about Metallica, but only playing Kill Em All, now that is a lineup.
