…this is a very gripping movie that asks all pertinent questions, and does not shy from giving difficult answers. Just watch and put yourself in someone else’s shoes, caught between faith and reality…

…just checked it, and the link works. It’s not political, nor is it aimed at bashing anything: in this movie, the men ask themselves, mere hours before they are shoved into the gaschambers, if god is guilty of breaking the covenant he made with the Jewish people. That’s the premiss…
Perhaps you’re familiar with the great old Johnny Cash song “A Boy Named Sue.”
As I watched the excellent film that Ephrem linked, it occurred to me that this song is equally applicable to this situation.
Particularly in that the name “Israel” means “he who contends with God.”
Just exchange “Sue” for “Jew.”
