Thanks. I’m looking forward to getting this over with and get a plan of recovery and training in place. Being in limbo is no fun. I’ll keep you posted.

48 hour update:
Surgery lasted pretty close to 2 hours and all went well. Ball was pretty much shot. 4 hours after surgery I was up and walking with a walker. Probably was able to put 90% of weight on that leg.
Decided not to take pain meds after surgery, big mistake. Day after was supposed to be the worst pain wise and it sure was. Got back on meds real quick. Rehab every hour when awake and was released from hospital right at 24 hours.
Today first home therapy visit, took me off walker and no cane needed unless I am outside just to be safe. literally 48 hours after surgery ended.
Have lots of work to do and need to be patient but so far so good and no hip pain. People are right when they say don’t wait!
Glad it went well.
moving as soon as possible is the best thing.
Im almost 7 months post surgery from having
ACL replacement and my hamstring ( and other shit) reattached
wishing you a good PT and speedy recovery
Here I check in assuming to see a video of you training for a 5K by now.
In all seriousness, rehab well!
