Saturated ones in particular, yeah.
That’s the first time I hear you making a statement on eating for health I believe ![]()
Check my log: been a focus since about mid June now.
Would you by chance know the brand name of that jerky at Costco? I’ve been looking for a good basic jerky with no luck.

They were more known more for cheese (went to college in Portland and got to hear all about Tillamook, haha)
Can’t agree more! Tillamook jerky is my favorite.
Awesome thank you! Yea I actually get Tillamook medium cheddar blocks from Costco all the time.
No problem dude. I just tried a few pieces and it’s phenomenal. Perfect pure protein snack.
I’ll give the looks and smell a 0/10.
Taste was definitely alright though. Far from being one of the worst things I’ve had.
(No I won’t be doing this again.)
This is the most revolting thread I think I’ve read here. @samul, WTF with those goop sandwiches? @ChickenLittle, you don’t like the roasted chickens? WTF? @j4gga2, canned fish vertebrae? And you kept going? ~gag~ @T3hPwnisher, at least I wasn’t surprised by your contributions.

If liking salmon burgers is wrong, I don’t wanna be right.
Nope! They are just greasy, tasteless muck once you eat the seasoned skin off of it. ![]()
I like to make sure I have seasoned skin on all my bites, haha.
Why is that stomach churning? Elk = meaty and gamey, avocado= creamy, eggs are quite neutral and creamy. All that’s missing is a bit of cheese, but you don’t eat cheese
It’s a shame the egg yolks are cooked through though
You have to ask @EmilyQ
Well, for one thing - and I think this goes without saying - it’s muck.
No, really I don’t have a problem with it, though personally I won’t eat plain avocado (guacamole or dressings are okay). I definitely have a problem with canned meat unless it’s tuna, which my mother trained me to like before I was able to discriminate between good and bad.
For dinner tonight I had broiled salmon, rice, broccoli and cauliflower. By the time I ate it it looked like “tomorrow’s breakfast,” because I like the salmon oil on the other stuff, so mash it all around. I’d take leftovers to work tomorrow and Friday, but I have a new job, and don’t want to be the loathsome microwaver just yet. Eventually they’ll all learn how much I like cruciferous veggies and fish, but I feel like I should be there longer than three weeks before that happens.
I wonder who at the clinic will comment on my food choices first, when we’re allowed to have the weekly lunch meeting in person? I’ve never NOT had comments from coworkers, usually about portion sizes.
If I can get everything mixed together like that and it’s still tasty I’m in heaven. Love bowls and mashes
Yeah, rice is my mainstay for this reason. EVERYTHING tastes good as muck with rice.
Except canned meats.
