What beaches are you going to? I love the coast here but Florida has nicer beaches for sure. Most of the beaches here are shelly and the water is nice and brown.

I like surfside as far as the town and it’s usually not too crowded…but it’s definitely not the best beach I’ve ever been to.

I am not a beach connoisseur but it seems very nice to me. Clean sand, lots of beach. Great family beach but not very many hot chicks.

I go there with my family every year. I agree it’s good for relaxing and goofing off, not for a night life or for partying. I like Surfside and Holden beach in NC. I hear some of the FL beaches are great but personally I’ve never been for some reason.
