I wasn’t in a good head space. Honestly, I don’t even know why I did it
Well, I was doubled over in pain on the toilet bowl all day, and I didn’t eat anything. But, squats are easier than ever, and I’m stronger than ever. What the fuck gives? What is this superpower where I still magically manage to get stronger even while I puke my brains out all day most days, shit myself all the time, and be lacking any sleep and nutrition?
I got 3 hours of sleep for the last two nights. Because, you know, work and insomnia.
Set two PRs.
Trap Bar Deadlift (Dead-stop)
135 x 2 x 5
185, 225, 275, 315 x 3 (all stupidly easy)
365 x 1
405 x 8 — PR
Squat
135, 185, 225 x 3
250 x 1
275 x 8 — PR, after trap bar deadlifts.
All done in the span of 25 minutes.
Congrats on the Shit PR…ahahahah had to
Hell of a set dude. Great stuff. That’s a lot of shit you’ve been through man, and still you’re managing to find positives in other areas of life. Says a lot about your character if you ask me.
Don’t give up on your courses just because the reputation of the school isn’t great. Bust your ass, do your homework. Do your best to take courses that interest you. Set yourself up and build a base in other areas of life.
Congrats on the PR’s dude. Awesome set
well done
Pulled an all-nighter. I was in too much physical pain to sleep, and I got caught looking for liquor at 3 o’clock this morning. That means I spent the night in the bathroom, haha. Sometimes, I really wonder if my life can get much worse.
What’s causing the pain dude?
No idea. Went to more than a few doctors about it, nobody can pin it.
My doctor said I probably have testicular cancer, because I have a lump in the bottom of my left testicle that is more than most likely a tumor, due to my age and having zero history of any testicular issues.
Sometimes, I look at my life and ask myself how it could possibly get any worse. I found my answer, guys!
Going to the urologist soon.
you fucking dumb ass
Solid. Always good to see a specialist when it comes to this kind of thing. It’s not weird for doctors to err on the side of caution.
Agreed ^
Let’s wait to see what urologist has to say my man.
I agree as well. I had a general practitioner in the military tell me to be prepared for the very real likelyhood of having a mass in my spine and one in my throat being cancerous and after around six long months of waiting to get an appointment with a specialist, they finally found out it was benign. Wait to hear from a urologist.
that was a long wait, you could have gotten a lot worse during that time if it wasn’t benign
I know. Gotta love the military…
Alright. Decent day! PRs all around. Also did my first ever single with 405. Deadlifts are getting closer and closer to 500. I’m definitely at or very close to 475 as of right now.
Deadlifts
135 x 2 x 5
185 x 3
225 x 3
275, 315 x 1
350 x 12 (1 more rep in the tank)
385 x 1
405 x 1 — PR. First ever single with 405. Should have gone up faster, but since I’d just pulled 55 pounds less than that for 12 reps, I figure I’m safe.

In good news:
-
I picked up a juul again after getting tired of the incessant coughing that came along with cigarettes
-
I made friends with a powerlifter at the gym today. Big dude. 5’6”, 255 pounds, squats 515, benches 315, and pulls 605. Anyway, we squatted together.
Squats
45 x 2 x 5
135 x 5
185 x 3
225, 250, 275, 295, 315, 335 x 1 (PR single. After deadlifts. Haha.)
I’m training with him again tomorrow. We also exchanged numbers!
