Thank you. I wanted more.
Nice work!
Look straight ahead. Make a double chin and squeeze oranges in your armpits.

I would have had 20 if I would have taken my time with rep #16 instead of rushing it.
Great heart dude. That was a fantastic set.
Who cares, though? It was a great set, a PR, you’re doing awesome, and when your body heals itself properly, the sky’s the limit.
Well done man
@T3hPwnisher @flappinit thank you guys for the kind words. Hopefully I’m back to where I used to be in terms of my available strength. My press, squat, and bench are all up…my deadlift should be back in business as well, hopefully. Today was supposed to be a deload day, too. Fuck that though, huh?
On another note…I’m simply going to run the original 5/3/1 w/ FSL 5 x 5 and target my weaknesses with accessory work. Thinking about Dimel DLs for DL day, a lot of tricep work on upper days, and good mornings on squat days.
I’m not going to focus on gaining weight so much as I am getting stronger, faster, healthier, and more conditioned.
Just remember - you can’t beat yourself up in the gym and not have it affect everything else that’s going on in your body. It’s probably pointless, and given my past, hypocritical, to tell you to take it easy, but I’m gonna tell you to do it anyway.
I’d also like to commend you on reaching out for help. That takes more courage than internalizing everything.
Hey, Flappinit.
I’m not even that sore. I’m really surprised.

Just gonna keep it simple until I’m healed up. Low Training Maxes.
Rep calculators are fuzzy for high rep squat sets because there are people who can squat tons of weight but don’t have the stamina or mental fortitude to push to their 20RM. That max estimate is not accurate but honestly, you’re stronger than 96% of the lifters at your age and weight that IVE seen…
Thanks. I know you can’t trust rep calculators for anything over 5, haha. But, a 385 Squat should be in the ballpark.
My mistake, if you’re using 325 as a TM you’re already nearly there, lol.
Yeah. Funny story. I’ve never actually had over 315 on my back, because I never do heavy stuff. Fancy that, huh? Yet, 255 moves like I have 130 pounds more in the tank.
Strong session, how are you finding the program so far?
I’ve been running 5/3/1 for 8 months now. Loving it more and more with each cycle. It works.
Hi man, seems 5/3/1 is popular on this forum. I’m new to it but it does seem to work.
Yeah. It works. Hop on, dude. I 5/3/1’d for months while sick with a parasite and colitis, and I just set a new squat PR.
That’s some fairly serious adverse conditions yet you still made progress. That’s what I like to see.
