George Floyd Riots

The sources I have are not conspiracy sites but they are right leaning but, the left won’t honestly cover anything to do with Antifa or BLM. There is apparently a video of them executing the 16 year old. Here’s something to consider: liberals are not supposed to like guns. The armed CHOP security are not liberals, they are more like Larping anarchists, and are very likely racists.

There is some incongruity there. Antifa and professional protesters are not liberal progressives.

It looks like it might be true. A medic at the scene says it was CHOP security that shot them.

"…CHOP’s security are the ones who fired on the SUV after it crashed into a concrete barrier. "

Lol the only Maiden album I listen more than SIT is the first one.

I like Deep Purple more. Show me your kung fu.

Hair metal was getting stale in the early 90s with bands like slaughter, warrant, etc. Hair metal was going down, with or without Nirvana.

Grunge was an unbrella term anyway, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains etc all had a different and distintive sound. Hell, Alice in Chains was way more metal than, say, Poison.

Yeah they were part of the New Wave of British Metal. Then they sold out and sold millions.

Just Let it go, brother.:grinning:

You guys are crazy, Dianno was perfect for the first couple of albums. Maiden would have never reach the status it did without Bruce, but songs like killers or running free lose a bit of their punk edge when bruce covers them.

FUCK. That shit.

Gonna have to disagree–listening to Bruce cover running free live will change your life lol.

I can’t say anything bad about Deep Purple.

A fair point well made.

I think my rotation is:

  1. SIT
  2. Killers
  3. FOTD
  4. Powerslave
  5. Brave new world.

I’d be hard pressed to find a single second of SIT that I’d change. There’s some fat I’d trim from Brave new world.

I didn’t even mention Killers because my dad’s car had one of those old CD players and Killers got stuck there one day. For a while it was all you could listen to (or radio, but come on).
Needless to say I’m burned out on that album.

No Prayer for the Dying was the first Maiden I listened to, and listened a lot for a couple weeks, then I listened to the rest of their discography and that was it for NPFTD.

Brave New World I almost never listen to it anymore but when it came out it was like eating veal after a being a vegan for almost a decade.

Perhaps I’m being unfair to both veganism and Blaze Bailey, but I never even gave them a chance.

Just like I never gave Sepultura a chance after Max left.

Until one day I saw them live with Derrick Green and it was awesome, so I decided to check out the albums and they were actually quite good. Better than Soulfly, I’d say.

Now now, there’s no need to go off the deep end here.

I don’t think there’s any debate on that at all. Any Sepultura incarnation is superior to Soulfly.

Blaze is responsible for one of my favourite maiden songs…when he isn’t singing it.

Was that back in 82? That’s when I saw Dead Lepoard.
