“Every time I see someone is killed by law enforcement, it takes me back to the day I found out about Trayvon Martin. I can remember where I was and what I was doing ― I was in my early 20s when that happened, and I remember having a realization that I didn’t before have while living in the bubble of D.C. I realized that there really are people out there who don’t care and don’t want to protect us and are just attacking Black people for no reason.”
I’ve noticed that Martin’s death is being attributed to the police a lot.
Someone should tell this dummy that Nosferatu was not the name of the main character in the film Nosferatu. It was Count Orlok. Also, Orlok was partial to German women.
The Werner Herzog Nosferatu is pretty damn good. Bruno Ganz, star of a thousand Hitler learns that- videos looks legitimately fucking scared of Klaus Kinski.
Edit: Mind you, there’s a strong chance this is the channers trolling the world. Lord knows, the CHAZ presents them with some absolutely golden opportunities to troll us all.
If this is true, that’s some crazy shit. I mean, people won’t become judges…until the council possibly evolves enough to “imprison” people, haha. How the hell will they do that? What prisons do they control? It’ll be some hole in the ground or something. This thing sounds like a TV drama set in the jungle with survivors of a plane crash.
And as a POC or whatever we’re supposed to be called, I don’t think all black people, zero whites, and zero Latinos, Asians, Arabs (not sure what the specific term is, but you know, people from the Middle East), Native Americans, etc. equals inclusiveness, haha.
This supposedly novel concept has been tried and tested for well over a century across different countries, cultures, continents, climates, ethnicities and races.
It would appear that all of the rules/regulations/laws etc that are being disseminated on social media and being laughed at are draft documents, likely from different competing people or groups. I’m not defending the substance of them, id just suggest folks not assume that these are the laws of the CHAZ, or even being seriously considered for the “final document”. They could be, but i don’t think we really know at this point.
And it should probably again be emphasized that this is a small part of a neighborhood of Seattle… this is not what is happening in Seattle as a whole.
Oh, no doubt. But, it seems like an experiment with willing participants so far, so why not let it play out? Maybe we all learn a few takeaways from it.
I think momentum for change has peaked in the general population. What will be the final outcomes for society from this period of social unrest? Or will the social unrest continue for a while longer?
