George Floyd Riots

Largely because of the profit in having kids attend college. Nothing is better than ripping students off in the pursuit of higher education. You can make good money off kids and parents who think it has the potential to give them a much better life. Who gives a fuck if the kid doesn’t graduate college? Collect the money either way.

We don’t give a fuck. When a known scam artist had a “university” which ripped people off did we complain? Fuck that shit make him President. Capitalism bitch that’s the free market at work.

Luckily this thinking of everyone needs college is slowly melting away. Schools have put a lot of work into pushing trade schools. Just have to still convince some parents that the kid who got D’s through high school probably shouldn’t attend college saying he wants to be a vet because he likes horses.

Don’t bet on it. We started that push in the 80s if not before and the whole thing is still limping along. Pandemic will change some things though.

I never would. If I knew the precise date that this bullshit would pop, I could make a tidy sum.

I’m merely noting that Ponzi schemes eventually go bust, and we’re well on track for that to be true at some date in the near future.

Uhh, and people thought this was about George.

2 days Lol. This should be a clear and obvious signal that such “liberations” are completely doomed to failure…but sadly is lost on the very people failing so hilariously.

I make up for depth of analysis with the tunes.

Did you ever see the movie The Final Countdown? Older, probably 80s. It had an absurd premise, but I really enjoyed it.

Unless you can just print more money.

The easy way to end it is to have their parents stop paying their cell phone bills.

Man when I was a kid one of the local schools had an amazing pep band. Nothing was better than them blaring this song out before a basketball or football game to get you hyped.

I played trumpet next to the first horn, who I think is now a jazz musician. That dude absolutely lived for this song and “Hey Baby”, which was one of our standards. His favorite thing was to take the highest lead line in the song and randomly put it up an octave…he hit octaves blowing I’m still not sure are actually real.

Does Arwen know of your college ‘experiments’ with Boromir?

Never heard of it.
Wiki had a wild story of F14 giving 2 zeros a bad case of jet wash.

HS band, although we were award winning. We had at least three cats I can remember go jazz (1 sax, my trumpet buddy, and a drummer).

I would have loved the crap put of Uni marching band, but I looked at the hourly time commitment every week and thought I’d rather check out the college experience lol.

I wish it was Nugent!

Time travel movie. A modern carrier group hits a bad storm at sea and gets transported back in time to 2 days before Pearl Harbor.

And that scene is amazing lol

Fwiw, I know and talk to daily 3 different people living in cap hill where that’s taking place. It’s a small area and everyone thinks it’s a joke. It’s pretty much daily life as usual in the area. Let’s not use hyperbole and say “we have given up on society completely at this point”.

Is there a quote from him saying this? Trying to find it, to send in an email to family.

My uncle married an Eritrean woman who fled the country several years ago so it’s a common topic in world politics discussions.
