Eh, we are starting to talk about different situations and not on the same page, probably in large part because my quoting ability is shit and its likely unclear what im responding to, where.
Moral of the story: It sure sounds like this was a legit shooting by the cops now. I wish this information had been released earlier. My opinion has changed from when this story started, but certainly is not set in stone yet as i would like even more information to come out.
I tried to find a version of the video where you can see the knife, funny thing is that all the ones from news channels have a bunch of words on the screen covering where oyu would see the knife at that point. There is a very low resolution one without words on the screen where you can just barely see a pointed object in his hand, if it wasnāt for the picture I posted I never would have seen it and thought it was a knife. But anyway, it looks like that picture is authentic.
Watch the video in this article, around 11 seconds when his left hand is in front of his shirt you can see something in his hand.
Iām seriously wondering if some news channels were intentionally covering his hand at that point, they knew that he was alleged to have a knife and if you watched this on a big enough screen it would be clear that he is holding something. Instead they push the narrative that he was unarmed and Kenosha burns.
What sucks is, you have a large number of people who assume racial injustice every time a black person has an interaction with the police based on believing a completely false narrative fed to them by the left leaning media, sociology āscholarsā, professional activists, celebrities and athletes.
Something to consider is that the three morons who founded BLM all have Hollywood agents and are cozy with Oprah, so you can expect to see their brand of neo-Marxism in a theater near you. Maybe weāll have Tyler Perryās Madea Meets Marx.
This one is really tough. IMO, this is a wrong place, wrong time, awful coincidence. Police just doing their job, and Breonna taylorās BF well within his rights to protect his family from two random gun wielding individuals busting through his door. She was hit by stray bullets through a wall, right? Fucking sad, man. I feel the same way about that female officer who in her tired end-of-shift daze walked into the wrong house by accident and killed the guy. Horrible accident, but i dont see malicious intent by either party.
IDK if no-knock warrants need to stop entirely, or if they need to be more difficult to get and/or info vetted much more thoroughly.
Also, you missed the worst instance of all: Ahmaud Arbery hunted down and murdered by some racist powertripping good ol boys, and then the small town DA and PD tried to cover it up, and didnt pursue the case for a couple months until the story got out into the mainstream.
Good call. Listed on the warrant because her car had been seen at the suspects house, and she was suspected of receiving mailed drugs at that address for him. But she was not the target of the investigation. IDK if that really changes my opinion on the events though.
The government did leave it to the citizens to protect things. As for the kid, I do want to wait for more facts. I really donāt have enough info to make a judgement call.
He seemed like a decent guy and wanted to help, but inserting yourself into an unhinged violent mob, armed is seldom a good idea. It wasnāt his place, he didnāt even live there.
There are or have been racist police. There are of have been police who abused their power. This, however, was not the situation where this Blake fool found himself in.
Itās really fun to arm-chair QB Police action in a desperate situation. Maybe the cop should have only fired 2 shots. Well, letās see how weād do in that situation.
This is not the guy to protest for this is not the police action to protest against.
You can argue no one should have their neck pinned under a knee for almost 9 minutes. But you cannot argue that a violent criminal, found in a questionably violent situation, who then fought the cops and tried to grab a weapon should not have been shot. He was begging to get shot.
I bet he was using the whole anti-police sentiment as a shield to do what he did.
Well, he played a stupid game and won a stupid prize. I donāt feel one damn bit bad for him.
The guy was a rapist, child abuser, domestic assaulter. The good news, is he is none of those things anymore. And he lived to stand trial. So he will hopefully serve a long ass prison sentence in a wheelchair.
But nope, the world we live in now, the NBA and MLB will boycott games because the cops were more than justified in using legal force. Of course, if the guy was white, we would have never even heard it happened.
āBut, but LeBron says the cops hunt him everyday!ā Poor little LeBron, heās so oppressed living in his compound in a white neighborhood.
However, the media continue to repeat the same lies:
āBlake, a 29-year-old unarmed Black man, was shot seven times in the back by police on Sunday while trying to get into his car with his children inside.ā
Replace āunarmedā with āknife-wieldingā and change it to āa car with children insideā and it would be more accurate. Did the cops actually know that it was his car and kids? How would they?
FWIW, a leading cause for opiod overdose is a victim recently becoming clean, and when they go back to using, they use the amount they had been previously which would be a fatal dose to non-junkies. I guess it is very easy to build up crazy tolerances to opiods, so IDK how much stock i would put into them saying he had a lethal amount in his system. I would want to know more about what a lethal dose is for a regular opiod abuser.
Regardless, it was the cop that killed him, not the drugs.
