In bodybuilding it is an absolute.
Lol. I agreed with you 99%. We don’t need to agree on the last 1%. Here’s a fast thing I did in the context of bodybuilding. In 2017, I dieted from around 18% body fat to single digit within 18 weeks and increased my bench from 385 to 405lbs at the same time. I increased my test to 250 mg/wk and dieted for 12 weeks before adding tren at a low dose every other day for the last six weeks. I was ripped and stronger. I stayed lean for a very long time afterwards as well. Fast, is relative, but that was fast by my definition and I have no regrets.
But again, I agree with you for the most part. There’s a reason I choose primo over more potent compounds.
In the particular context of dieting, I am willing to opt for a little faster here at the expense of some muscle. I’m overly fat with muscle mass to spare. I want to look lean as soon as practically possible. So, going faster than you would is simply a reflection of my priorities.
However, I was going way too fast and on track to lose more muscle than I would be happy with and I’m happy you and others pointed that out to me.
I read a study recently that had guys eat 55% calorie deficit and took 200mg of Test a week for 28 days. They lost fat and gained muscle. 1.3-1.6g/kg of protein. Maybe do what they did?
