General HRT Q&A

If I get blood work done through the LEF website, would it stand as credible in the eyes of a future doc that I may find down the road?

Credibility has nothing to do with it. Any doctor worth his salt is going to order new blood work for a new patient simply because it’s the right thing to do.

However, having the blood work from LEF will give you the knowledge about your situation that you need to have and it may also convince your new doctor that he should also test for some of the stuff that often gets overlooked (thyroid, estradiol, etc.).

It sounds kind of crazy, but having your blood work handy puts you in a good position for your NEXT blood test.[/quote]

Makes perfect sense to me. I’m almost 3 weeks into my adex therapy and feeling better everyday - wow. From day 1 until present. My wife is amazed how I have changed. I’m still waiting for the libido to come back. I do feel feistier, but not to the extent I know it can be. After a month, I’m going to get blood work done by whatever means I have available.

Hopefully, my TT and FT will correct themselves with the E2 fix, completing my HRT with an AI only. I do have a plan for T and HCG if need be, however. I just can’t get over how really great I feel.

Thanks again for any, and everyone’s input. BTW, I changed my username from sifuinkorea. I don’t know if there is a comment sent out, or it just changes automatically on each previous message.

The lab work will be done by LabCorp, one of or the largest lab group in the country. The work will be credible. The results can be stale. But if T is low, there would be no reason to suspect that the levels would return to “normal” later on. Many docs would act on that lab work.

You could also have copies of your LEF order and the paper work that accompanied the lab requisition mailed to you by LEF. The lab will take one of the pages, make copies. With that data, there will not be a suspicion of a forged lab report and steroid fishing.
