Technically, feelings are real. So a man who feels like a woman is basing that on something that does exist. It just doesn’t exist anywhere but in his mind.
Hehe.
“What about 'women who have had their penis split open, rearranged and turned inside of them?” Same possibility as the ‘women who have never had a penis and testicles?’"
All else being equal? I think I’d be OK with it. But talk is cheap, and I’m having difficulty reifying this hypothetical.
Thought experiment!
Can a ‘woman with a penis’ (always had it) dress ‘butch’ and be a lesbian?
Just like your belief in god. You have a feeling, you define it as a manifestation of god. A transsexual has a feeling, he defines it as belonging to the opposite sex.
I could go along with the idea that what a male transsexual feels is not womanhood. But since I can’t prove it isn’t, why do I care if he wants to be called a woman?
This is no experiment. A transsexual can also be homosexual.
Yes. In my (limited, indirect, probably biased) experience, the rate of homosexuality among TG women is higher than among CG women.
Can a woman with a penis( always had it) dress butch and date men and be straight?
Can a woman with a penis (always had it) dress ‘feminine,’ date women and be straight?
can a woman with a penis (always had it) date women and be lesbian?
How about women how have removed their penises?
How about women have never had penises?
Gosh. It’s like there’s some huge important difference.
You think there is.
What if he feels like he’s a tiger?
Apparently there is or you wouldn’t have said anything about homosexuality.
I.e
A man who calls himself a woman sleeps with a mans. He’s a homosexual
A woman (the kind to never have had a penis, geeze) sleeps with a man. Hetero.
Huh, they aren’t both hetero.
And this is what it has all boiled down to. Now that this has been settled (it actually was earlier, but this rather blunt) . We just had to argue about if we are all obligated to accept everyone’s feelings, and even adopt them (if only to superficially).
Society has to humor your illusions, you should be ok with humoring the illusions you see in others.
And you still avoid the question: why can’t you just be nice to someone?
And you still avoid the question: why can’t you just be nice to someone?
Agree that I actually feel the spirit of my God, father, son, and Holy Spirit. Not the feelings But that the feelings reflect reality
And then do the same for non-Christian theistic religions.
And you still avoid the question: why can’t you just be nice to someone?
Heh, you called both “illusions.” Then there’s ‘sky fairy’. And, then, the quote from a new recent topic.
And you still avoid the question: why can’t you just be nice to someone?
Oh, I like to think I am. Unless you’re going to say that I can’t ever be nice to someone because I refuse to use pronouns that don’t reflect reality, and what only exists in the individual’s mind. And it is clear we both agree it exists only in their mind.
