And this is what it has all boiled down to. Now that this has been settled (it actually was earlier, but this rather blunt) . We just had to argue about if we are all obligated to accept everyone’s feelings, and even adopt them (if only to superficially).

Oh, I like to think I am. Unless you’re going to say that I can’t ever be nice to someone because I refuse to use pronouns that don’t reflect reality, and what only exists in the individual’s mind. And it is clear we both agree it exists only in their mind.
