You mean the miniseries is playing again? Or entirely new series?
I don’t know if anyone answered this for you, but it’s a new weekly series.

AV,
What graphic novels you got? How do you like Watchmen so far?
I don’t have too many. I have a few of the trade paperback versions of some of the different Star Wars series, but The Watchmen is my first true graphic novel.
I haven’t started it yet though. I’m still wrapping up the Dave Ramsay book and I had just started to read Outbound Flight before I got The Watchmen, so now I’m debating with stopping Outbound Flight and reading The Watchmen first.

Alright, gentlemen. Despite its slight deviance from what has been considered ‘geek’ in this thread, I have to throw in my financial goal (or should I say, financial black hole) within the next 18 months:
Audi S5, Meteor Gray on Magma Red interior. And goddamn Audi for not offering a dual clutch transmission, but oh well.
I would not get those rims, by the way, but the subtle body kit I do dig. The color is what I’m in love with; Porsche-y and definitely not the standard, boring color combination.
Have some investments overseas that will hopefully come to fruition. We’ll see…
I will hate you so much.
So much.
(I want one too, but I have other goals - like rent and buying food.

That does look cool.
Did anyone end up checking out Infinite Undiscovery? I was looking forward to that games, I didn’t heard good things about it once it came out.
One game I’m looking forward to is The Last Remnant. The good news is that it’s coming out for both PS3 and 360, so we’ll all get to try it.
Also, if anyone cares, I played the Pub Games for Fable II. I unlocked a few things, but I didn’t really find the games themselves worth playing. The unlockables really don’t appear to be all that game breaking and it’s pretty easy to get into serious debt playing them.
How is Fable II looking so far? I think the concept is great; I’m a bit forgiving with companies that try to think outside the box, like what Ubi Soft did with Assassin’s Creed.

Im not one much for stoping in the middle of a book then starting something else and then going back. But it shouldt take more then a cupple of hrs to get through any GN. But Outbound Flight is a hell of a book =). O and the main char. (other than Thraw) is the same guy that was with Talon Kard when they found The “Black Fleet” not sure if you picked up on that.

I think they said Co-op online play will be a download on Xboxlive but co-op on the same console should be right out of the box.
I’m really looking forward to this game, 2 more weeks from today!!

Fracture does look pretty sweet. I’m really hoping Dead Space comes around nicely. I need a nice scary game that actually plays well. It’s EA, so I’m a bit nervous, but at least it’ll be mediocre.
My buddy is a HUGE RPG guy (I know he’s at least about 110 hours just trying to 100% Lost Odysee, for instance,) and he played Infinite Undiscovery. He played it once, and hasn’t since. I do believe he’s more of a turn-based guy, so hopefully that’s why he didn’t like it. I still want to try it, though. Last Remnant looks cool as hell, but I still need to pick up Lost Odysee, Blue Dragon, Tales of Vesperia, and especially Eternal Sonata (really looking forward to this one.)
For you PS3 junkies, keep an eye out for Prince of Persia coming out in December. It will especially appeal to you God of War fans.
It basically looks like a mish-mash of GoW, Assassin’s Creed, and Vagrant Story (old PS1 action-RPG by Square) - due to the cell-shaded graphics. The environments look incredible. Hope the gameplay matches.
I’m not too worried there, though; Ubisoft is generally known for pretty incredible gameplay (they also developed the previously mentioned Assassin’s Creed.)
And for you old-school geeks like me - MEGA MAN 9. Suh-weeeet! It’s been 12 years since Mega Man 8 and Capcom ditched the updated graphics, returning to the outdated look of the 8-bit NES masterpieces. They even added in glitching and slowdown to make it resemble the old titles.
Beware though: this game is supposedly extremely hard. I’m a bit skeptical of this claim, though. I think it’s likely a relative term, as today’s games are dumbed down and much easier than games were when I was a kid due to the fact that video games have become much more mainstream and reach such a large market now.
Developers don’t want to scare off new players. I have a hard time believing it will be any harder than some of the old games I’m used to such as the original Contra, the original Ninja Gaiden series, and even the old Mega Man games. Some of those games were hard.

I got to the fourth disc of Lost Odyssey and just kind of gave up on it. It’s a good game, but it had a few flaws that were really annoying for me (the main one being it had a habit of locking up) and I thought it was a little too long.
I played the demo for Eternal Sonata and liked it and want to give Tales of Vesperia a shot as well.

Of course! Heh, played as a light side male and a dark side female in 1 and then a light side female and a dark side male in 2.

Definitely some of the greatest games ever. I’m going to check out if the original KOTOR is on Live Arcade, I never really got too far into it before I lost the game. I remember the second one being good, but a lot of people said the first was better.
As much as I do want to play Lost Odyssee, I’m just not as big into turn-based RPGs, so I’m having a tough time just making the switch.
20 days until Fallout 3!
--------------- EDIT ---------------
Wow, I finally just read the article about Mirror’s Edge in my new(ish) EGM! The game looks fucking AWESOME!

I loved both games, but I thought the first one was way better. Just a better story overall. The second one just didn’t have the same hold on me that the first one did.
