I really liked Pushing Daisies initially, but I lost interest in it for some reason. I think I just got bored with the characters, with the exception of Chi McBride’s character. I thought he was excellent.
I’ve been contemplating putting together a rig next year and throwing on a ass-ton of games, mostly old school stuff.
I’d get a 360 at some point for sure, but there’s just something about a mouse and keyboard that you can’t replicate with a controller.
And I REALLY want to play some old school games…Syndicate Wars, Half-Life, Theme Park, Sim City, Lemmings 3D…man, imagine having that on a 1080p big screen.

I like to consider my self a PC gamer even though I had to go buy a PS3 b/c Lucasarts took a big dump on its fan base by not putting TFU on PC. But I like to play all the Lucasarts classics like X-Wing through X-Wing Alliance, Grim Fandango, Dark Forces thought Jedi Academy and KOTOR. Also like the older Blizzard games and Red Alert. I wish they still used real actors to do Cinematic
I’ve been playing Assassins Creed the last 4 nights and am still loving it - I can see a pattern developing here but the graphics are still excellent and storyline is really cool.
If it start getting boring, just cause a LOT of trouble in a city and get them to chase you on the roof tops while you push them off - good fun.

Exactly. I haven’t gotten tired of running from guards and getting into sword fights yet. I guess it could EVENTUALLY get boring, but no more so than San Andreas is if you play it too much.
I really like this game and, no, the killing isn’t even the main focus. You could spend a week just exploring the environment.
I haven’t played a PC game with regularity in a long time, but the one game I will honestly be the first to buy is Starcraft 2. Goddamn that looks sick.

It’s games like this that keep PC’s in the loop for gaming.
Who’s played strategies on a console? Is it any good compared to a PC?
No way. Strategy games honestly require a whole combination of key presses that lends itself to having an input device like a keyboard/mouse.
Ubisoft has to be my favorite game company. EA is highly overrated (but they struck gold with Call of Duty 4). Blizzard is a close second, with 3D Realms and Apogee for the old school stuff.
And a nod to Valve for the Half-Life franchise; truly changed the gaming landscape with all the precedents that game set.
Half-Life was the most enjoyable, most immersive game I’ve ever played.

While I agree since I’ve always favoured a PC to a console, they do have some strategies on consoles so it must be at least somewhat playable.
I’ll probably have to get a mean desktop again one day with HDMI ports to play on my LCD.

Hopefully TFU will be in the “usual places” in half the time as there are a few people who have copies already, GTA IV was up almost a week before its release date. Make no mistake I’m still buying it, but man I’m having some serious withdrawals and I haven’t played it yet.
For those who were a bit confused by the ending in Assassin’s Creed:
PSP users: how easy/difficult is it convering music downloaded from your iTunes to mp3 format? I’m trying to figure out how to do this b/c MLB: The Show allows you to make custom soundtracks but it’s not recognizing the songs I currently have on my PSP, which I ripped from my iTunes.

I’m sure you won’t have any issues finding TFU in ‘alternative places’. I’ll be buying it for sure. I’ve been hooked since I’ve played the demo. You are right about withdrawals already. I don’t think I’ve ever worn out a demo like I have with TFU.

That pisses me off as well and iTunes is slowly losing my respect by doing things like that. You can’t play their music on any other device because of that. The only solution I have is to make a MUSIC CD, not a data disc, and the convert that to MP3 using my desktop computer.

I’ve worn out the demo too, must’ve played it 100 times already. I’m going to kick ass when the game comes out.
Btw, Himora is that the Secret Apprentice in you avatar? I remember reading the novel and a vision described his appearance as being similar to that pic.

I hate to say it, but I already took Too Human back. It was really fun at first, but I got extremely tired and frustrated with it after maybe the 5th level.
