Like Applesauce said, Uncharted is kind of an old game to be including in the bundle.

Its to get the game more exposure for when Uncharted 2 comes out

The closer it gets to Sep.16 the more I hate Lucasarts b/c The Force Unleashed isnt on PC =/

I just finished downloading the demos for both 360 and PS3. This should be fun, although I might not have time to play them until Sunday.

If I didnt know better I waould say you were mocking me… But If you are then “I MUST BREAK YOU!”

But I cant take it any more!! I am going to go get a PS3 tomarrow! I dont give a shit what my GF says, If she dont like it then Ill just tell her to STFU![/quote]

Just tell her that if you get a PS3 and you’re always home playing it, then you couldn’t possibly be out getting in other kinds of trouble.

I once saw a billboard that had a picture of PSOne with the following caption:

“If he’s home playing, then you know he’s not out cheating on you.”

Call me dumb…but when did the 80gig PS3 become $399? I knew the 40gig was $399…did this happen today? The reviews for it are all today the 21st on Amazon and there are none on Gamestop. Is it just me? am I just now noticing it?

Looking closer at Amazon its say it came out yesterday…wow looks like I waited just long enought to make my move

LoL, Ill just send Drago after her

Okay… got Too Human yesterday, played it a decent amount today. It’s not too bad, I don’t understand why it’s getting crucified so badly by critics. Not as deep or complex as God of War or Ninja Gaiden’s combat system, but worth at least a rental for anyone with a 360 that enjoys action/adventure games.

Same here. I’m enjoying, too. The reviews have been pretty bad across the board, but I think it’s fun. Then again, I like the Diablo-like loot drops.

I think alot of the negative stuff is that on XBL its only 2 player. And then on top of that the healer class, not sure what it is off the top of my head, but b/c its only one or two player the class is worthless. It got a 7.5 or 7.9 on IGN, not a bad score but not a great one.

I think it has the same problem as alot of games right now, If its not a Big name and has any hype around it, then it gets rushed and they hury to get the game out. I would rather see them hold the game 3-6 more months and get it right. Make it at the minimum 5 or 6 players.

From what I saw of the game, it look good. I to like the loot system the game has. There can never be to many different weapons or Armor in a game.

Side note, Dose the PS3 come with AV cabels or can I use my PS2 AV cabels?

Does it come with AngryVader cables…oh…um…audio/video cables. I think it came with the standard cables, but if you want component or HDMI, then you have to buy those separate.

I’ve been playing The Force Unleashed demo on PS3. Pretty f’n fun!

Apparently there are things in the Demo not in the Final release. Story elements I would assume

I have no idea what they could be referring to. The demo is pretty short. There’s not much to it other than being able to play through a level and get a feel for the gameplay and graphics.

I just finished with the 360 version. They both look and play pretty much the same. There were some small differences in the environment effects, but that’s all that I noticed.

I can’t really say one is better than the other. I can say that it’s fun though and I will be buying it for sure now.

It comes with AV cables but that won’t allow HD viewing.

The HDMI cables are like 20 bucks at Walmart…and 70-80 bucks at Circuit City…unless you can talk them down on that price…like I did.

Or, you can buy ANY cable from here:

And thank me for the savings.

I would have loved to have seen this at Circuit City. Not because I doubt you, but because it would be priceless to literally see someone’s nuts crawl back in their body as you mention your request to pay a lower price. The fact that they are charging triple or more is an insult, when you can go to Radio Shack or Ebay and get it for so much less.

I wouldn’t have known how to approach it if it weren’t for this thread. I didn’t even know what an HDMI cable was before this.

They know full well they are charging over 3 times the usual price. They also seem to come down at that price if you are knowledgeable enough and they think they are making a big sale off of you.

And guys, PLEASE don’t ever buy Monster Cables.

Seriously. Do those guys think they can beat the laws of physics? Copper conducts fine, those shady crooks.

Agreed! One of the biggest ripoffs on the planet. For some reason I need a $100 shielded cable that’s only 6 ft long to transmit 1s and 0s. Huh?

What worse is when you talk to people that swear they can tell the difference. Oh really?

Those are the same people that cannot tell the difference between a CRT monitor running at 60 hz and 75 hz. I can, and I can almost tell you the color gamut of a monitor, too.

I’d say my senses are fine enough to pick apart if ‘shielded’ copper wire yields better A/V quality. It doesn’t.

Is this like first class vs. coach? I didn’t know electrons cared to be pampered when traveling at just about the speed of light. Ah, Physics. Dominating mankind since the Big Bang.

This is why salespeople hate me. I cannot be marketed to.

When I feel like accumulating some good karma, I go to Fry’s, find a poor soul who is being sold shit they don’t need, and wait for the salesman to go ring him/her up.

Then, I tell them what they COULD buy from Fry’s, what is worthless and where they could get product xyz cheaper. I love running into a corner and watching the salesperson come back to either a suddenly-educated customer or to not even find that person still standing there.

I feel like Robin Hood. Except I’d change my name to Robin Fry’s. Bitches!

LOL.

For the record, I can’t really tell the difference between 60 & 75hz - and I use PC’s every day. Then again, my HDMI’s only cost me about $8.

8’ HDMI Cable - Free
25’ Coax Cable - Free
Cable Modem - Free
Rechargeable Batteries w/Charger - Free
Micro Leatherman tool - Free
1000 CD-R and DVD-Rs - Free

Thanks, RadioShack, for having such a faulty, blundering behemoth of an inventory tracker system that all of the above items became unsellable WELL before they became unusable, and thus had to be destroyed.

Destroyed in the future.

Anything else about Too Human?

I was really psyched for it and then I read the reviews which seemed pretty harsh.

Hell to the naw. I used to, though. For about five years.

One of the most soul-grinding jobs on the planet. I’ve had hundreds of people pull money out of government-issued bank envelopes on the 1st and 15th to pay for prepaid mintes on three different services.

I’m now in sales, and states away from that garbage.
