Dermal plating is over rated. I beat the first boss on the hardest difficulty without it. The best upgrade for the first boss is invisibility. Strategy for Barret: 1. Go Invisible 2. Run around the arena 3. Hide 4. Shoot’em in the back. If Barret doesn’t know where you are he’ll just shoot at your last location.

Invisibility doesn’t work for me at all on him… (tried during my first playthrough, I was going full on hacking, invis, silent non-lethal)

Xbox 360.
I used the hell out of invisopower during the second half of the game. Once it’s fully upgraded to 7 seconds of usage per battery it’s great. The guards can still hear you so staying low moving quietly is still important.

I played the extra mission. It’s a nice little bonus for just pre-ordering but it’s not game altering. The best thing about it is you get 6-8 autohack tools at the beginning, and at the end you get grenade launcher as a reward. The grenade launcher will make the next boss fight ridiculously easy.

Same here I just watch Netflix on my Xbox360, my phone (when I have access to wifi), and use the internet to find whatever I can’t watch on Netflix.
I just got rid of my cable box and by doing so I cut my monthly bill in half. I’m kicking myself for not doing it sooner.

It concerns me that they’re losing content when they’re in desperate need of newer shit. I would pay double of what I’m paying right now if they had MORE NEW SHIT!

I’ve got that mission pack but now I wished I had unlocked it when I played for the first time. It would have saved me a lot of frustration during the boss fight, ehehehe. I’ll need the grenade launcher for the next game then!

Really? I just keep finding more and more stuff to watch. While new movies are little slow on the streaming side of things, they have a metric shit ton of TV shows. I’ve been watching High School of the Dead, Dr Who, and Eureka. I’m finding shows that I never heard of when I had cable. Most of the shows are complete with 12-50 episodes each. If nothing else there is always Top Gear.

Seriously?!?! The PS3 has to be on to recharge a controller? What retard made that call?!? When I’m done playing my Xbox I can plug in my controller, shut off the machine, and go to bed. Next day I’ve got a controller with a full charge. Nobody at Sony could figure this out?
Power A’s Pro Elite controller is pretty bad ass, especially if you’re primarily an Xbox user who recently bought PS3 and realized it comes with an itty bitty controller with the thumb sticks in the wrong spots. It’s the same size as my Xbox controller, but lighter due to the internal PS3 type battery. My Xbox controller also has type pad attached which adds some extra weight. So far it’s been working great. My only complaint is that it uses PS3 triggers instead of Xbox triggers. No worries, I got a fix for that.
Trigger Extensions.
New stick extensions from Kontrol Freek just in time for Gears Of War 3. I might buy a set is I don’t have a spare pair on one of my extra Xbox controllers.

I can turn on my Xbox 360 by pressing the Xbox button on the controller. Does the PS3 not have this functionality?
