Like it or not?
I do I enjoyed the movies and look forward to this, love the note at the end about R rating.
Wait, what happened to him becoming king of the undeadvampireghoul empire in The Chronicles of Riddick? Are they going to ignore that ending?
Where is Zoe Saldana’s fine ass?
First comment in the section below article. hahahahahahahahaahaha
This is probably going to be a Pitch Black prequel based on the references to Riddick’s “people” and “home”.
For anybody that hasn’t seen Chronicles of Riddick, look away now:

Riddick has no people or home. He becomes the last Furiyan when the Purifier kills himself.

Good to know I’m not the only one that liked CoR. Now I don’t have to duck…
Thanks for the link to The Man from Nowhere, D. It’s on my rental list.
I liked Pitch Black and COR. Have been waiting for sometime for a new film. With that said I do not know how I feel about a prequel, I usually do not like them. You already know the ending and he is a little old to be going back in time as Riddick.
It might not be a prequel. I’m just going by the wording of the article. That synopsis makes more sense as a prequel to either Pitch Black or as a link between Pitch Black and CoR. I used to think prequels sucked until I saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes. It literally changed my avatar overnight. Now I’m a believer.
Audiences throughout history have sat through stories even though they knew the ending. It was the detail of the story and the telling of it that was important, not the outcome. That only changed when those stories could be filmed and distributed in a static form.
