I got the beta key to tribes:ascend a couple weeks ago.
not as good as tribes 2, but still better than COD or most new fps games out.

It sounded pretty good up to the point where it said “directed by Bay.” Then I lost interest. If it was directed by somebody else and Bay just had a producer credit I might be more interested.

Bay doesn’t do ‘true events’. I’ve got a kind of perverse interest in seeing how he intends to pull off a “small scale” movie on a ‘mere’ $25 mil (that would normally buy him an explosion).
Subtlety ain’t in his vocabulary either, so I’d like to see his artistic interpretation of the whole bodybuilding lifestyle (I wouldn’t really, although Michael Clarke Duncan playing one of those weeds in the first link I posted would be an understandable and much-needed distortion of the truth).
