You can always buy the game on Steam. I’ve seen the game on the PC and it is gorgeous.
Yeah but right now it doesn’t work for crossfire systems even off of steam.

I’m sorry for your loss.
Its okay- I’ve found something else to suck up my time lately, so I’ve got time to wait and if it’s anything like oblivion the dev community will pop in.
Hopefully we can get some more use out of DX9, sadly it’s not DX10 or 11

I could have sworn, my buddy (huge computer nut) told me some of the PC version of the game is DX11.

Swolgegasm- sorry bro, I hate magic! Especially when you’re an Orc who cannot handle fire damage
Redstar- Slay those mages
UA Phenix- Cool story, bro. Seriously. That was a cool story. Those Ice spells hurt like a bitch
Overstand- Good point. But I’ve become the leader of the companions and I store my stuff there. Hopuefully they won’t won’t rob me.
Anyone else have any epic battles they want to brag about?
I had a fourway with a dragon, a mammoth and his pet giant. Me and the mammoth survived but I killed it with fire.
Bullshit! I call shenanigans. What kind of armor did you have? what kind of magic? Are you a pure caster or a half breed(caster and sword user). Used hit and run tactics?

Pure caster. The dragon and the giant were fighting and i was attacking everyone, but the mammoth stood a bit away like a nerd. When the dragon died i finished the giant and attacked the mammoth. There pretty easy to kill, it was at a giant camp so i ran around the huge camp fire in circles shocking and shouting at him.

Good job. Every fiber of my body wants to invade your game, find your mage, and cut his head off. Steel is the true power, not magic.

So Wol how do you really feel?
I run around throwing fire with the left hand and finishing people off with an axe or mace.
Starting over sucked donkey balls, however I did get to avoid the small mistakes I made at first.
I think my next character will be a halfling (magic one hand and sword in the other) , that way I can do all the other guilds. Right now the only guild that fits my character is the companions, I with that storyline was longer, but oh well. I gotta figure out if any of the other swords that I can smith are better than the skyforge sword, but don’t want to waste ingot and such if it’s going to suck.
As a side note, to any other armor wearing/ weapon using people out there, using the worktable to improve your armor/weapon makes it dramatically better.

PC or Xbox?
I plan on rolling a Orc or a Redguard that uses an axe/shield, a greatsword, and a bow. Might learn a spell or two (Chameleon & Restoration ftw) but will stick with the warrior skills most of the time.
Yeah, it’ll be awesome when the devs drop a texture pack for sure. Read that HardOCP link- while it’s a brutal review of game dynamics at this moment ( they aren’t the biggest RPG fans usually ) for an initial video card review its great. They’ll have a more in depth one out soon. They’ll wait for bethesda to address the crossfire issue and give it a fair chance at playing.
Gotta ask you guys something. When I was a kid, I collected comic books. I used to buy 2 copies of everything I liked. One got read, one went in plastic. I’ve got XMen 101, New Mutants 1 - god only knows what, and tons of other indie comics like Groo, Cerebus, etc. They’ve been sitting in a closet for years.
I also have 2 boys, ages 7 and 9. So, I’m thinking I pull out the most valuable ones and let my boys have the rest…? Hopefully, they’ll get as much joy out of them as I did. Maybe use it as an opportunity to teach them to take care of something valuable?

I would sell them all, put the money in an IRA for their college.
Teach them by buying them two comics for gifts and tell them what you did.
