Three previews for Season 2 of Avengers, looks like Mockingbird and Black WIdow will join The Avengers and Fury will shave his head and go full Ultimate instead of the amalgam of the 616 Universe and Ultimate Universe. Looks like they will do the force field shiled from the early 00’s, man I hated that story.
Looks good - I can’t wait.
I enjoied the 1st season.

I don’t know what the force field shiled story is - but it sounds bad.

Man, I hope they do a good job with this.

Anybody know that new X-Men game was in development? Just heard about it today. It’s being developed by Silicon Knights. I liked Too Human, so I’m looking forward to this game.

In X-Men: Destiny, players will be put in the role of a new mutant who joins the X-Men; they will have to make choices to decide the ultimate destiny of their character. According to early sources, X-Men: Destiny is placing an emphasis on “choice” as its main focus, as opposed to a more traditional linear type of gameplay. According to the official press release, “the all-new original video game casts players as new mutant recruits in a rich, branching storyline that features a deep element of choice and gives players ultimate control of their destiny”. At E3 2011, the hands-off demo demonstrated that throughout the game the player character collects and equips ‘X-Genes’ which grant the power of an established member of X-Men continuity. These come in three types, offensive, defensive and utility, and can be swapped at any time with other collected X-Genes.

Established characters from the X-Men who are confirmed to appear for now include Wolverine, Magneto, Iceman, Cyclops, Emma Frost, Colossus, Gambit, Surge, Nightcrawler, Pixie, Mystique, Northstar, Quicksilver, Pyro, and Juggernaut, with other X-Men characters also expected to appear.

Yep. Had this on pre-order since April.

There hasn’t been much released about it other than being another moral based open world game much like inFAMOUS.

Someone needs to make a T-Nation app for Droid.

That is all.

It’s essential that you play it in the dark - with earphones.
Ehehe, I always play my games in the dark. But no earphones. No way. I know what happened when I have earphones on. Someone can creep behind me and make me jump, haha!

Happened once when I played Doom 4. Never again

I’ll have the surround on full. Much better experience, me think.

Duke Nukem Forever for 24.99? Yeah I’m on it.

Lol  - fair enough, I’ve had something similar happen to me - not a very enjoyable experience.

As long as the sound is up loud enough so you’re immersed in the games environment + it helps when you can hear the bad things coming - they’re alot faster than you and hang around for awhile trying to find you. Good times.

My neighbors seem to object to the sound of gatling guns in dolby surround.

Something about their kids needing sleep or some such, my hearing was slightly impaired at that time.

Netflix has the 90’s Spider-Man on streaming one good thing about being bought by Disney they aren’t afraid to show their cartoons. Now all we need is the 80’s Spider-Man, Hulk, and Soider-Man and His Amazing Friends preferably unedited and with Stan Lee’s narration.

Link to a few episode synopsis’ for Ultimate Spider-Man looks like it will be a Spider-Man and the Avengers cartoon as they seem to be in quite a few episodes. Now the question is which Avengers are they?

I don’t know how they can even get into the Civil War situation at all considering it hinges on a break up between the philosophies of Iron Man and Captain America…something they won’t risk before all of these movies come out.

I did…and that shit irked me. There is no way in hell a world like (one filled with your dead friends and relatives all begging you to join them) that would have even phased the real Captain America…even though they blatantly tried to tackle his “homesick issues” over the course of the season and that may have been what they were getting at.

however, the real Captain is supposed to be so fucking inspirational, that he is what keeps that whole team together and motivated. Hopefully he steps up next season.

I do cut them some slack because I just watched most of these eps again and all of this shit basically happens within a few weeks on that show…so it does make sense for him to be at odds with whether he should even still be alive or not…I just wish they did it better.

That is why I said this needed “Avatar the last airbender” story telling. They are moving way too fucking fast.

This whole first season could have been two and allowed way more character development.

More GI Joe 2 news:

 • Adrianne Palicki (of the cancelled-before-it-began Wonder Woman tv show) as Lady Jaye. Not sure how they’ll work around all her fancy-shmancy javelins though.

 • Ray Stevenson as Firefly, “The film’s key villain.” I really like Stevenson (he was definitely the highlight in War Zone and is awesome in Kill the Irishman), but in a million years I wouldn’t have pegged him as Firefly. Stevenson’s 6’4" and has a super-intense glare/demeanor. Having him in a full-face hood as a stealthy/covert ops guy just doesn’t seem to jive.

 • On the downside, they’re still looking to cast some teen heart-throb-type of dude for a Joe called “Mouse.”

They are redesigning Snake Eyes’ suit. Ray Park said it looks “awesome.”

Just be better than The Dark Knight.

Or the same - I’ll be happy with it on the same level.

This looks promising zombies vs cowboys

I prefer my Cowboys killing other Cowboys. But whatever.

Anyone mad about the new NetFlix prices? Is there an alternative in the US?

Yeah, I just got that. I think it is actually cheaper if you choose one or the other…dvds at your house OR direct streaming.
