Of course the Black Dude gets the gayest color and worst costume… Oh DC, I hate you so much sometimes[/quote]
Seriously, bro. Are you gonna play with us or should I call your new girlfriend Yoko Ono?
Finished Portal 2 and it was awesome. The puzzles are more complex. The dialogue is just as funny, if not more in some places, as the original. That being said, I wouldn’t judge this one against Portal 1. It is a very solid, entertaining sequel. It just doesn’t quite have the same charm as the first. That’s not a negative, though. Portal 2 is a great game, in my book. I simply wouldn’t expect lightning to strike twice.

Yeah did try to butch it up with the camo, keep in mind until the JLA cartoon John Stewart was a bitch, his storyline hadn’t been fleshed out by DC he wasn’t even a Green Lantern anymore(Kyle Rayner was the sole GL), and he was bed ridden due to a broken back. Since I would say 05-06 his origin was retconned he’s now a former Marine instead of just being the black GL.
Honestly I would have swapped Kyle’s and John’s rings(I’m going to hate myself for writing this). Kyle is more the “love” character and John is a symbole of hope, Guy currently has a red ring which is badass by the way, and Hal will most likely get a yellow ring from Sinestro.
A little over two hours and I beat the retelling of the first mk storyline. I learned two things, this game is fucking awesome and my fighting game skills are not.
Just Finished Zettai Hero Kakumei Keikaku on Psp and it’s simply awesome, i just love ATLUS games, and i guess till the weekend i will have obliterated Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep.
I saw in the T2 thread people where discussing special effects in older horror films, well this link has a pretty cool make up test for the creatures in the I Am Legend film. They decided to go with cgi instead a shame as these masks look pretty cool. My only complaint these where not zombies they where vampires in the book.

Actually, John’s wearing the Indigo ring (compassion). Slightly less gay…plus it makes him stand out more (no pun intended), as “Indigo light of compassion is rare” in the DCU.

Loved it, the voice acting and writing are top notch. The defective turrets were hilarious.
Witcher 2 looks pretty awesome. I loved the first game after they patched all those annoying loading screens. It was cool that there were no clear “right” or “wrong” choices.
Portal 2 is great. The coop is just perfect. The interactions between the characters and your partner are awesome; humorous mostly but can be serious. My friend and I had a hell of a time beating it. The single player mode and co-op both have excellent story lines, and I’m glad the game is of a reasonable length now. The new additions to puzzles make then harder and new without being gimmicky.
Also, the Witcher II looks fantastic. Since Dragon Age II failed hard, I hope the Witcher II can redeem my faith in the RPG genre. They nailed the moral choices in the first game; where it was a question of what ideology you support or identify with rather than whether you enjoy kicking puppies as most games do. There are several more endings and choice paths in the sequel, and it appears to be shaping up to be a great game
Also, Skyrim looks amazing. The graphics are incredible but probably require a super computer to run properly.
Anybody here played Heavy Rain for the PS3? The game is entirely quick time event based, however they truly don’t get old. The story is amazing, and the characters are just excellent. The developer spent enough time on modeling and animating the faces in the game so that you can actually tell the emotions of the characters from their expressions, making for a more subtle game.

Im still waiting to get some co-op time with, but the single player has been more than I expected. Controls are really tight, actual story line is interesting and humrous. I am trying to take my time and not rush through this game. Overall for myself and what I love in games this is a 10 out of 10.
