^ Does it have a rating yet? Beside the alien there better be some people dying in this.

^ Why? Is there no originality left in Hollywood? Must they fucking reboot everything. What next Chaplin? The Lone Ranger? Howdy Doody.

Sorry, brotherman, but Lone Ranger is actually coming in the next year or two.
Directed by Gore Verbinski (did the first three Pirates of the Caribbean films) with Johnny Depp as Tonto. No word on who’s playing the Lone Ranger, though.
Other remakes in the works or being considered:
Clue, Commando (possibly starring Sam “Terminator Salvation/Clash of the Titans” Worthington), The Crow, Daredevil, Footloose, Fright Night, Red Dawn (mostly done), Robocop, The Smurfs (animated smurfs in a live-action setting), The Thing (technically a prequel), and Total Recall (starring Colin Farrell as Quaid)… to name just a few.
It’s really getting beyond ridiculous.

A white guy as an Indian? I know they did this shit for westerns in the 50s, but those were some pretty racist times. I thought we were more enlightened.

Wow. Leave no stone unturned.
Bujo it says that Depp is “part” Cheroke, I guess cause he has black hair?
Pffffttt. Self-identified Cherokee ancestry. Meaning he claims Cherokee blood, but doesn’t belong to any of the Cherokee tribes. I imagine just about anybody from a family that has an American lineage from 1850 on has some part native blood in their veins.
My Great Grandmother lived among the Cherokee and was popping out little half-Cherokee kids from 1905-1910. I would hardly count myself among the Native American nation.

Hahahahaha my wifes X husband has been saying shit like that for years. Telling his kids the “Oh you have (insert native american tribe of choice) in you so you can get college paid for”. The wife finally told him to STFU, she is Mexican and the only one with real Native American ancestry.

wow re-doing the crow… i can’t agree with that… i reqatched the movie and i think although the CGI was a bit off it was still a really good movie… it really captured the darkness of the whole movie… im not a big brandon lee fan but that was a good movie IMO

Outstanding. Some folks will cling to anything just to feel special. If he had ever spent time on a reservation or with real Natives he might not be so inclined to tell his kids they’re part Indian. Not meaning to offend anyone, but Native folks aren’t the most industrious people.
Thank you Hollywood for once again fucking up my childhood memories. Ahh Akira I remeber going to a comic book convention and buying a bootleg VHS copy of you from an overweight man in shorts and a too tight stained shirt. Ahh the memories as I placed the cassette into the machine and saw a cartoon, not of talking animals or army men firing lasers and magically pulling eject buttons as their planes where shot down.
No you where different violence, blood, nudity and a mature storyline my still a little to immature mind could fully understand. Of course the bad subtitles and really bad copy I paid(3 for $20.00) didn’t help either. I watched you all through highschool when friends came over we would watch you, Bubblegum Crisis, and Vampire Hunter D. I should have known Hollywood would make you into a big budget film I had some hope they would stay truer to the source material rather than make up their own shit I sadly was wrong.
Please Hollywood stop making movies of my favorite childhood cartoons, please come up with your own ideas and leave my post apocalyptic cities, my robots in disguise, and my real American heroes alone I can’t take much more of this.
If you guys remember that mortal kombat live action trailer that came out a few months ago its going to become a web series.
^ Amazing.
Really glad they stuck with MJW.
Annnnnnnnnnnnd the latest on the Man of Steel is that Michael Shannon will be playing Zod, he’s definitely got the look, wish they had gone with a different character though
Anybody else looking forward to Portal 2 coming out next week?
