What’s the ratio of human killing : alien killing in Crysis please?

I ask this only because killing aliens bores me to tears + they weren’t that great in the first one.
The last alien FPS I really liked was ‘Prey’ - they made an impact, if that makes sense. None of the sissy crap you see from the Halo games.

Hmm, for the first half of the game it’s mostly humans, then it switches every now and again, occasionally you have to fight both… Shortly before the end(I assume it’ll be the end) you have to fight humans again, and then only do they all become allied to you finally…

There are a lot of aliens to kill though… But don’t worry, while they are tougher than humans, you’ll have the HMG or M60 or heavy assault rifle (I keep forgetting the name… Use semi auto imo) or shotguns and so they’re basically pushovers as well… Something you got to be careful about are the melee fighters, and sometimes they turn reddish and go berserk (take A LOT of ammo then, but still no more than 1 mag at most).

Easiest way to kill aliens without the HMG or M60 is to shoot at the exposed jelly/squid parts (not necessarily the tentacles, just their plexi-glas plates on top / on the back). Or snipe them there for 1 hit kills…

Alien infantry is just like stronger humans mostly, you won’t have to fight those annoying alien drones from the first game or anything, and you will have much better weapons anyway.

If you have an objective… Just sneak past them and go there if you don’t feel like fighting…

Sounds pretty cool, thanks for the strategy tips - very pleased to know that the drones aren’t in it…

Please keep us updated regarding the ending - i.e wether or not it opens up for a third.
The problem I have with EA is that it always feels like they’re holding something back.

Hopefully when the modding commences there’s some cool features as well.

With a fully graphically modded Crysis 1, does it surpass the current Crysis’s graphics?

Man, that reminds me of MechWarrior. I used to play it back in the day - I loved that game.
Me too man. Too bad they turned the fourth one into mech-quake with worse graphics than the third.

Hey, the new mechwarrior game had a trailer out ages ago which looked reasonably good… I wonder how that will turn out? I hope it plays more like MW3 in terms of how the mechs feel…

Is that still in development?
Honestly, I lost touch with that game years ago. If they made a new one I’d seriously be up for it though.
Switch to HD after the ad.

I think this is just a very, very early version though… It’s an old trailer.
I’m amazed that there’s never been a reboot/update to the series, I only played up to Mechwarrior 2 though - didn’t have a good enough pc to handle the 3rd. Played the 2nd one to death though - had a great atmosphere.

Regarding the video if this game is made, I seriously hope that they scrap the idea of a main character voice-over - it would ruin the experience imo.

I miss the sound of the ladies voice “weapons online…”

Hah, just googled the MW 2 voice - found this page:
http://wavs.unclebubby.com/mechwarrior/

Now to reconfig the computer to have the voice activate during booting up and shutting down.

I just hope they have the balls to make a real controller for it ala Steel Battalion

This is the only game I NEED this year.

Saints Row is just like GTA no?

Yeah, but tons more fun IMO.

Just bought a psp again and sold my DS.

3rd Birthday is simply awesome and i can’t wait for Super Robot Taisen Z.

AT&T agrees to buy T-Mobile USA from Deutsche Telekom for $39 billion

This would make AT&T the sole GSM carrier in America and that’s a bad thing.

I think T-Mobile USA will remain a separate entity in the US, purely because of their comments on getting the iPhone 4 on their network.
As long as I get to keep my T-Mobile plan and don’t have to update to an AT&T plan I’ll be happy. My plan has been off the books for years, and no other plan matches it’s price.

The ending is definitely open for a 3rd game.

The HMG is my favorite gun in the game. It’s a heavy turret weapon, so no reloading for it, but it sure tears the badguys apart. There are some pretty cool weapons like the Guass Cannon (one shot kill sniper rifle) towards the end of the game. The microwave gun is hilarious. The bricks of C4 make for great traps. Better yet, strap C4 to a car, hit the enemy with the car, then detonate the C4 for good measure. The battle arenas are so large that flanking left instead of right will make the same battle seem completely different.

I loved the old Parasite Eve games, PSP has gotten some solid releases that have really tempted me to get one lately.

Very cool indeed - really looking forward to playing this now. Thanks man.

Yea this looks like a great trailer, not that comic sappy BS trailer from before. Reynolds has a witty side that is good comic relief but you dont have your trailer for a possible summer blockbuster centered around that.

i’m happy he used a machine gun instead of a big fist.

Sorry, which game? Crysis 2?

Regarding the trailer from Green Lantern, judging by that trailer it ALMOST seems like a good movie.

The movie is looking bad ass. The lantern still looks like something that came out of my nose last time I had the flu.
