I didn’t know if this needed its own thread, but Iron Dwarf on this site designed the avatar…proving he deserves much respect for his skills with a pen.
Thanks, man.
I knew it had to be his work. Freakin’ sweet. The guy’s really talented.

Tony Stark says that avatar is pimpin. (new set pick from IM2)

Cool, I’m looking forward to it.

Cool deal! I’ll start a new thread for us to discuss. I’m seeing it on Saturday on IMAX.

I actually think it will be good. I would go see that as well but I missed Wolverine last week.

If it helps at all, it’s already getting rave reviews. It’s currently sitting at 94% on rottentomatoes.com after a 127 total reviews.
By comparison, Wolverine is at 36%.

I have yet to make the 45min drive to Austin to see anything in IMAX. If I enjoy Star Trek enough…I might go see it again at IMAX.
Thanks Prof. X!
And thanks for the kind words Dracbest, Vader, Maximus, HGT, and Big Boss!

Samuel bugs the shit out of me but I’ll wait and see how he does in the film.
Samuel is one of the few guys who can pull of badass with any degree of success. Alot of actors nowadays have to act tough, while Samuel just has it in his blood. That donut shop is called Stan’s Donuts, its in Westwood by UCLA.

See, I think he pulled off one or two badass roles, was all of a sudden overhyped for it, and then himself believed his own hype and now it shows in whatever role he plays.
He gets on the set and everyone says, “Alright guys, let’s watch Samuel be a badass!”
And he thinks to himself, “Man, I’m a badass! Watch me be a badass for the crew!”
He’s like a black Will Ferrell. The man is in EVERYTHING and it just gets on my nerves.
Anyway…I’m saying that, for me, his badass-ness feels counterfeit; tainted by arrogance.

Actors and arrogance go hand in hand…Samuel L. is no different than any other mainstream actor.

Yeah, but the difference is that I’d still want to have a beer with Samuel L. I’m sure he has some stories to tell. ![]()

Megan Fox is very ridiculous.
I played a demo of Batman: Arkham Asylum at Game Stop today in Challenge mode, fun stuff! The graphics were pretty good and I liked the way the fighting system was arranged.

It actually looks pretty promising. I’ll check out the game-demo, in the very least for sure.
And I’ve also just heard Arkham Asylum is geared towards stealth. NOT COOL. I fucking hate stealth games - I’m a “light every mothafucka up as efficiently as possible” gamer.
From what I’ve heard it has rpg elements, so if you don’t want to stealth it upgrade batarangs and combat skills.
