LOL man I haven’t touched SP yet. I was ranked 903 on leaderboards when I stopped playing on Sunday. Stupid honor ranking was bugged and I only got top 3% badge instead of 1%. Hopefully they give me the 1% when they fix it. Bc I’ll never play that much again lol.
I was never a huge fan of Star Trek, but honestly the new movie coming out looks really good.

O got about half way through SP then tryed MP and it was a rap. Ill get back to it sooner or later. But I have to work nonstop for the next 3 weeks so I want have all that much time to play.
I’m good but Josh is a beast! In the few matches we played I was behind him more than I was in front of him, I did have 5 kills with one grenade one match. I totally dominated that round.

One of the things that JJ Abrams and the writers said at WonderCon was that they wanted to make Star Trek appeal to a new audience, but still stay faithful to the original series as to not piss those guys off.

Get em both. I got Rock Band because my favorite band is coming out with an album in a month or so. The instruments are generally cross compatible (but not the Les Paul).

Rock Band has a much larger assortment of songs. It’s interface and display are MUCH better than Guitar Hero’s. RB’s 4-pad drums aren’t as realistic as GH’s drums, but I find RB’s to be much more consistent.
If you’re just into the guitar aspect, GH might be your thing. But seriously, drunken RB with a few other people is epic.

I like GH more than RB my self. I hate RB tour mode, you play the same songs over and over and over and over and…well you get the point. RB does have a years worth of DLC over GH but song for song I think GH:world tour has the better songs than RB2. Plus GH is coming out with a compilation disc(or it might be DLC) of all the best songs from the first 3 some time in May or June.

Yeah, I was more pro-GH when GH3 was out, especially on the instrument front. But after spending time with RB and RB2, and later GH4, I find there’s just too much I enjoy about RB.
I actually don’t like the group play dynamic in GH at all with the communal star power pool… having to save people before they fail out… the overly busy look of the note tracks, etc…

Guitar Hero: Metallica comes out this month, I believe. If you pre-order it at Gamestop, they give you a free bass drum pedal for all the double kicking you’ll need to do in certain Metallica songs.

Meh, I can’t stand how on drums in RB how you have to wait to use your star power for a fill. Also by pooling the star power in GH the person can save themself. As far as the note “highways” being busy, I dont even notice them while im playing. But to each there own right.
