You’re not alone. He looks a bit small for the role, there are big shoes to fill there…
Maybe his Abercrombie contract forbade him to go past a certain weight?

Well…

We’re getting the PS3 tonight.

Merry Christmas!
Good for you! Remember to get the HDMI cable, but don’t pay too much if you buy it in the store.

Alright, help me out. I’m a graphic novel geek. Gimme some good titles. I’ve read most of the usual suspects – Watchmen, Dark Knight Returns, V for Vendetta, etc. – and I’m just for some pointers on anything I may be missing.

I’m in the middle of reading Y: The Last Man, and I just started getting the Sandman, but haven’t gotten to reading them.

Any suggestions?
All of Geoff Johns’ run on Green Latern is in TPB. I highly suggest you catch up on it at your local Barnes and Noble.

There was leaked footage from Comic-con earlier this year as well: http://www.flylyf.com/x-men-origins-wolvering/

Already have one.

Now we’ll just have to get a modern receiver…and 7.1 speakers…and a universal remote…

Crap.

See, the Geek Code dictates that we keep each other broke by making sure our geek arsenals are up to date with the latest toys

I really liked Identity Crisis, The TPB for the relaunched JLA - Red Tornado saga and the 2nd one which was the lightning saga.

That Terminator trailer looked awesome!

WOW.

If you get Planet Earth, you may as well get Deep Ocean.

Has anyone here played Fallout 3? It’s been out since November, but due to finals I’m unable to take a crack at it. Let me know if it as crazy as they say it is.
It’s so good… You’ve probably heard this before, but it’s basically Oblivion with guns. The combat is a lot more interesting with the V.A.T.S. or whatever system. I’m not too far into it yet, but it’s a very good and addictive game. I already made the mistake of popping it in before finals, heh.

Terminator Salvation(better quality American trailer):

Awesome! The higher quality really makes a difference. I noticed it’s a little different than the Japanese version.

I think that’s all I want to know at this point though. I’m seeing this one opening weekend for sure. I don’t want any more spoilers from this point on.

So this is Terminator 4, correct?

And T3 was the one with Kristanna Lokken (yum!) ?

…Not a Terminator fan, huh?

I love the Terminator franchise but am not really a die hard fan of too many things.

I saw T3 a long time ago and thought it was a decent action flick.

same, however it seems that the general consensus was that t3 was a horrible movie, I also purchased the dark knight, batman begins and cod 5 today. Most likely throw the dark knight in on Saturday night. Played a bit of COD 5, I prefer modern shooters(not guns with crappy aim and shit rate of fire lol).

GOW 2 best game this year imo

I don’t think it has anything over games like GTA IV, Fallout 3, MGS4, Fable 2 & Prince of Persia. It doesn’t bring anything new to the table of gaming.

What the fuck?! I don’t check T-Nation for a day and all of a sudden we have a new Geek S**T 4-pages deep? Nice…

Yeah, agreed with RSGZ. I don’t think GoW2 will actually be mentioned with most Game of the Year conversations… probably rightfully so.

Anyway, I was going to pick up Chrono Trigger for the DS, but for some reason we didn’t have it in, so I pickd up Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass. I’m definitely surprised by how well it’s playing… And yes, I know the game is old as shit.

SO LIKE

I’m still addicted to Fallout 3, and yeah.

Kill and steal.
That’s my motto.

I say PoP for Game of the Year. New look, great story line, great controls (apparently). Plus, it is Ubisoft. Those guys are wizards. And ninjas.
