Dushku is officially the hottest woman ever.
She certainly isn’t… um…

What now?

Good! As I’ve posted before, tits are one of the requirements for a good slasher flick.

I’ve heard it’s a little lacking on the gore though. Did you notice this?

Yes…but then, I watched the other movies over the last week and I think some people have rosier memories of what those sequels were like because many of those death scenes sucked.

They used to put a blade through someone and it would come out the other side with a small drop of blood on it. Needless to say, at least these looked more realistic. Had they actually gone the “overboard use of blood and guts” route it might have been comical.

That’s pretty much why I related it to that tv show. It’s tame on gore so if you are expecting Saw, stay home.
Thanks. If it’s more realistic, then I’m fine with that.

I only like over the top gore in cheesier slasher flicks. Like you said, it becomes comical when they go overboard with it.

They always need tits though. There’s no way around that one.

Hell yeah she is!

Anyone else looking forward to Dollhouse tonight? Between that, BSG and The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Friday night might be the best night for TV for a while. Good thing I have a DVR.

No, the best TV ever was on Friday nights on ABC: TGIF

Only way that could be topped is if they started to show porno on public television.
kaisermetal22 wrote:

someone told me that the songs that plays are actually voices saying:

CHOP CHOP CHOP KILL KILL KILL
In the original, it was actually, “KILL, KILL, KILL…HER, HER, HER”. The mother saved one girl for last. It’s been remixed since then to several different things.
Professor X wrote:

Oh, there are tits less than 5 mins in. They did not skimp on this at all.
Some slasher traditions should never be changed.

Friday the 13th kicked ass. I’ve seen all the Jason movies and consider myself a Jason Voorhees fan. I was happy with this production.

Side note: That girl had stupendous tits. The nipples were perfect.

The black guy looked like a plain fool when he was high. But he was a bad ass when he met Jason though. Every black person in the audience was cheering for him.

I’ve seen it and with the exception of the Green Lantern episode, I find them insulting to the Batman: The Animated Series and all the shows it spawned. Why would they take this route with Batman after the gritty realistic movie and the Gotham Knight video? I guess DC is getting greedy and wants to appeal to a whole new Generation but I find it patronizing to real fans of the Batman mythos. If Kevin Conroy isn’t the voice of Batman I don’t have much hope for the show.
Or maybe they were aiming for something more like the original The Brave and The Bold comics. In the late 70s Brave and the Bold was bit more of a lighter fair, where earthquakes could happen in one issue and be forgotten in the next. Besides its good to see Batman be something other than Mr Doom&Gloom all the time.

Video Games And Hollywood ? What Does The Future Hold?

http://www.gameinformer.com/News/Story/200902/N09.0211.1711.19018.htm?Page=1

Another interesting article over at GameInformer looking at the futures of each industry and questioning the possibility of convergence.

A few interesting quotes from the Article:

—In relation to CapCom’s Frameworks software…is that it creates such an interesting texture to the look that is so exotic to the eye that it looks better than live action. As this continues to improve, we are going to see actors selling their scan-rights to a studio and continuing to live on forever as a character and never have to worry about aging. They will be forever young as a file, frozen in time with all the range of motion and their expressions in their faces. It sounds a little hollow and haunted, but it kind of makes sense.

—Grand Theft Auto IV was ridiculed by mainstream media, while the equally-violent film The Departed was nominated for four Oscars. The game industry looks to Hollywood for pointers as to how to obtain this level of recognition and credibility.

—I think that game studios are looking to Hollywood to bring credibility to video games. Games have always kind of been looked at as the ugly sister of entertainment. With game revenue skyrocketing by comparison, I think that they both need each other. It has become almost a symbiotic relationship, and games are coming up and earning respect because the loyalty of fans to some IPs.

I downloaded the Halo Wars Demo last night on XBL and it is a pretty meaty demo. I played the story mode which gives you two levels. Its been a while since I played a RTS but i got into the swing of things pretty quickly. I definitely recommend the demo for anyone who digs halo and likes RTS games.

Yeah, but to go back to the 1970’s means ignoring the last 30+ years of what has gone on in that comic. Batman IS dark now. He isn’t light hearted and funny.

Plus, that animation looks similar to that new Transformers Animated series that sucks so much ass you wonder if that’s their night job. In fact, let me take a moment to express just how bad that cartoon is…and they also took the “light hearted” route.

I got the last ticket avaiable for friday 13th and i got to admit:

JASON STILL SCARES THE SHIT OUTTA OF ME!

I almost screamed like a little girl when he started RUNNING, i mean Jason is huge and when people run he justs walks, but the running part was just too much for my heart.

I loved the japanese dude he is very funny.

And there was 2 very beatiful chicks there! The sister of the protagonist and the girlfriend of the blondie jock.

I really liked how they mixed all movies in one. At the toolshed i was expecting more gore, he had so many options to kill someone and he choose the damn fork or whatever the heck that was to kill the japanese.

I’m gonna do a friday 13th revival at my house, starting from the first to jason goes to hell this sunday.

I disagree. The B&B episodes are self contained one-shots with no over arching story, so they won’t ever be considered canonical. They don’t/won’t undo anything developed thru the comics or the animated series. For example Batsy and Ted Kord (old Blue Beetle) teamed up for much ass kicking and they ended up having old Ted die disarming a rocket. A much better send off than the bullet to the head he got in the comics, but no body will be quoting it and trying to retcon it into the events of Infinite Crisis.

Anyways its a harmless 30 minute show that makes for perfect entertainment while I’m eating. Plus its fun to see how old Batsy fit in with the other heroes.

She is definitely stunning and I’ve had a crush on her for years.

However, my new Top 5 resident:

I will have to revise my rule about not dating my own kind. Damn, I hate going back on my word.

Hmmm. So, Holidays for me and of course the very first day I stayed up till 8am… Old night-owl genetics coming through here.

Anyway, I was watching some TV while eating and they showed the ghostbusters series!
Watched it for old time’s sake, then came spiderman and x-men…

Hmm. All seemed so… tame for my taste, I remember some of the comic-series’ being way darker (esp. some of the x-men stuff) and I can’t entirely recall what the tv-series used to be like back when I was younger (haven’t watched all the different ones, I suspect they’d only show the baby-versions here in Germany anyway).

Still, a little bit of oldschool-geekiness resurfacing…

I really hope they keep the same vibe in any sequels. They could keep Winchester guy also.

GODDAMNI

Obviously, power consumption could make it an inappropriate solution for laptops. I would certainly throw it in a quad-core desktop with 8 GB of RAM…

So with in like the last few weeks I have watched Claymore and Guyver(along with some other stuff) and Im feeling really let down. Why the fuck is it that when they adapt manga to anime they only do 24 or 26 episodes and then just say “hay, fuck it thats all we’er going to do.” Really pisses me off.

Finish what you fucking start!

No one watched Guyver for the story.

It was the original crazy violence porn.
