It happens. I’ve been assured the crack T-Nation Tech Team is working on it.
How’d you scoop Vader on this?
Himora is a much faster reader than I am, so he’s way more up to speed on the upcoming Star Wars books. I’m a good year behind.
How awesome it would be if there was a “Dead Space” type Star Wars game. I might be on my own but I would love to see it.
I still wish they’d do some NJO related games, another X-Wing or Tie Fighter type game, and another Jedi Knight game. Seriously, I don’t understand how they haven’t tapped the Yuuzhan Vong by now. Is 19 books not enough source material?

Maybe it’s because the Yuuzhan Vong…suck!
Meh, I like the NJO. It is to long. they could have gotten ride of some of the books and the ending is a little week. But up until Star by Star all the books are great, then they are alittle down hill till Rebel Dawn/Dream and the 3 Force Heratic books.

Traitor was a great book! The series overall was too long though.
The Yuuzhan Vong kicked ass. An enemy, besides the Sith, that the Jedi couldn’t beat by simply deflecting blaster bolts or with a few quick slashes of their lightsabers. There’s nothing compelling about fighting Battle Droids or Clones.
The organic ships, technology and ritual scarring/disfiguring/transplantation were awesome too.
Graphics are pretty nice, but Capcom still hasn’t changed their dumbass controls on that game. Why, Capcom, why? Why ruin a good looking game with a lot of zombies running around and by handicapping the player with a control scheme that was idiotic even on Resident Evil 1.
Memo for Capcom: Have your team all play a month of Left 4 Dead before starting on Resident Evil 6. A big tough hero should be able to move and shoot at the same time.

Anyone else try the Resident Evil 5 demo?

Hmmm.
Controls suck.
Graphics are ok, but who the fuck gets scared when it’s bright daylight and the zombies are really a bunch of rabid townspeople…
That Executioner reminded me of the pyramid-heads from Silent Hill.
Why the fuck are Chris and co too stupid to bring along some big automatic weapons with lots of ammo? It’s not like they’re doing this kind of thing for the first time?
At leat pack more pistol ammo goddamnit.
Dunno about the game… I’ll have to play the full version.

I guess you could get scared if zombies jumped out from hiding places and sprinted full tilt at you…
As it is, they might do that, but by the time you manage to turn around, they’ll already be on you.
I also hope they fix the AI before release… the chick is always getting in the way.
I don’t think I’ll ever play the full game. Too many other better games to play before wasting time on this one. If I want to suffer with sucky controls, I’ll try to finish the 4th one on the Gamecube.
You’d think they’d want to “innovate” at some point and give the player adequate controls. Ah well, I’m sure it’ll sell by the millions anyway on name alone.

Which is the sole reason why (one) Dead Space game trumps (every) Resident Evil/Silent Hill game ever.
I was thinking back… anyone remember Parasite Eve?!
Mh. Story wise/atmosphere-wise, some Silent Hill’s are imo way better. Imo Dead Space would have been ideal in first person instead of third. Also, RE-1 back in the day was something special (at least to me). Nowadays it seems laughable, but back then…
Never got around to playing that one…
