Some more pictures from the game Batman: Arkham Asylum

This game looks badass, Kevin Conroy will be voicing Batman and Mark Hamill will be voicing Joker. I can’t wait for this game!

Is that on the Unreal engine, it looks like?
It says the Unreal Engine 3 on the wiki. shrugs

Did you see Clerks? It reminds me about the part in the movie where they are talking about all the contractors(plumbers, electricians…etc) that must have died on the Death Star. Funny stuff.

I’m currently trying to decide between PS3 or XBOX 360. What do you guys think? I like RPG style games and really want to try out Fable 2 (only available on XBOX 360), but I know that PS3 seems to be the more reliable unit and it has the blue-ray player. But XBOX 360 is about half the price. But I also like that PS3 uses blue tooth for the controllers.

Looking for input from you guys, figured this was the best place to post this instead of making an entire thread for it.
Mh… Fallout 3 is out for both, isn’t it?

Dude if you want lots of great RPG and such… Buy a PC lol

Yeah yeah I know, I’ve built several good gaming systems in the past. But with work, lifting, and my girl I don’t really have time to get super wrapped up in an MMORPG (which I always do, I get addicted). I just want a console system so I can come home during the week and enjoy an hour or 2 of fun gameplay. And if I build a new desktop gaming system its gunna run around 800-900ish minimum.

I also really want blu-ray to use on my new HDTV I bought a few days ago and want to play some games on it too! lol

Edit: And yes fallout 3 is out on both…that’s another game I’m lookin forward to playing after I buy one of the systems (most likely ps3).

Don’t forget: you can always send your girlfriend my way if she takes up too much of your gaming-time.

Always there to help, brother.

Nah its ok, my gf time results in better pleasure than the gaming time. =P

Appreciate the offer though man!

Prince of Persia = Overhyped

This has to be the most repetitive game I’ve played since Super Mario Brothers. Every level is the same as the previous one. While the graphics are decent, the dialog is irritating. It is basically some huge quest filled with monotonous chores all so you can screw some magical chick who can float. There aren’t even any puzzles on the 4 levels I beat before I put it down.

Tomb Raider beats this hands down. If you want a challenge, go with the chick carrying rifles and submachine guns.

Wow, well I’m glad I didn’t purchase that as my first PS3 game. Thanks for the review X.

I’m really looking forward to picking up Assassins Creed after reading your review of that in the first geek shit thread. I ended up getting Fallout 3 when I got my PS3 since Assassins Creed and Oblivion both weren’t in stock and I had heard good things about Fallout 3 also. On here and on other websites/reviews.

Picked up Motorstorm Pacific Rift and a new Dualshock 3 controller. Motorstorm PR is the shit, if you like arcade racers then you will like this game. This one lets you take screen shots in the game, which I’ve been having a little too much fun with.

I got the Last Remnant for Christmas, today was the first chance I’ve gotten to sit down and play it. Seems decent so far, I downloaded the game to the harddrive and in battles there is a bit of a pause but nothing horrendous yet.

I also got Bioshock and that game is creepy as heck.

I have been looking to play a traditional tern based RPG but there just arnt any. FF XIII is at the least a year out and the only game that I have seen and considered playing is Eternal Sonata. This game reminds me of .Hack or Kingdom Hearts and has gotten good reviews form the press and from players.

I also played The Lord of the Rings: Conquest demo today and if you liked Star Wars Battlefront you’ll like this game. Signal player only lets you do the training mission but the multiplayer is fun and where I think this game will shine. I dont know if it will be worth a bye but it is defiantly worth a rent. check out the demo.

Speaking of Star Wars: Battlefront here are some “leaked” images from the 3rd installment.

Han looks a little…off, but the first two where good games if you had friends to play with and now that it will be on PS3 and 360 with online play I think will make this game 2x better

Yikes. I think this generation of consoles will be remembered as the Uncanney Valley generation.

Ok, as a tech geek, I can’t quite understand the advantage of this device over, say, a laptop similarly hooked up to an HDTV, but I guess for the non-techie geeks, it is the best deal on the market for what it is:

I see where your going but I guess this just streamlines the process.

Well, I’m late as fuck, but I did finally get Fallout 3 for Christmas. It’s pretty badass, but definitely more difficult than I was expecting, especially in comparison to Elder Scrolls games.

I also just bought FarCry 2 yesterday, and I have to so I’m impressed so far. The weapon mechanics general gameplay are pretty realistic, and the levels are nice and sprawling, giving the player the option to take on a situation however they choose.

The original Far Cry (minus the last part with the mutant bs) was absolutely great… Germans can make decent games, too

Gotta get myself FC2 at some point… But that would require a much better rig…

Resident Evil Degeneration.

I think this is the first Zombie CG motion movie.

I never played it, but I had heard mixed reviews about the first one. This new one is really, really fucking good though. The setting, sound, graphics, gameplay… it’s got it all. It takes a lot to rip me away from Fallout 3, but it’s doing a damn good job right now.

Awesome. I’m a fan of the games and the movies.
