I want heavy on the vampires with light boobies.
Lol I read the book and I was really impressed with it honestly.
Will catch the movie on Redbox one Sat night when I am bored…
Talking of boredom, Abe’s looking listless - probably no more vamps to kill by then.
If you’re desperate, Abraham Lincoln vs Zombies is on Netflix Instant. I’ll probably catch it this weekend.
Speaking of Civil War zombie flicks, everyone needs to see Exit Humanity (Netflix disc only, not Instant, but I grabbed it at a Redbox.) Absolutely phenomenal film. One of the few movies where, I watched it with my girlfriend and then watched it by myself later that same night with the actor’s commentary.

Possibly one of the most realistic zombie movies made so far.
I’ve seen this movie, totally boring, horrible B-movie. Seriously, I know that X likes black stuff which is just fine, but he needs to find something better to reccomend.
What’s wrong with b-movies?
B movies in my Opinion have to be either so bad that they are good, or otherwise have something, anything else that brings the viewer in such as offbeat characters or humor. This movie is straight up boring and about 2.5 or 3 hours long. Waste of money.
So it’s not a b-movie then. What alternatives would you recommend?
I just dont see why everyone is falling on “The Dead” 's bandwagon when it sucks. Anyway, some movies that I have enjoyed that would fit the geek label…
Street Trash- a movie told from a homeless’s point of view, that makes fun of bums without giving the viewer any intellectual or cultural offerings whatsoever. The movie was also created by the Troma film people, so you know that there will be some kind of gross outcome of the characters
Cannibal the Musical- features a musical made by the guys that made Southpark, of the story of the only person in the US to be convicted of cannibalism
Bigger Faster Stronger- A docu about roids, physical culture geeks would enjoy
When I asked for alternatives I hoped for zombie movies that you liked so I could get a handle on why you didn’t like The Dead. Are you generally a fan of zombie films?
BTW, one of the movies on your list is one of the few movies that I lacked the endurance to sit through. I don’t judge movies by standard ratings, just by how much longer I’m willing to sit on the couch after completely losing interest.
‘Falling asleep during a movie’ gets a higher rating than ‘sitting watching a wall then having to walk away because the movie is detracting from the experience of choosing what color the wall will be next’.
Fittingly, you’ve ranked that movie as number two…
Wow this is better than I thought it would be.
This may have killed black ops 2 for me.
This is my kind of game, I will get both beat black ops in 6 hours, the oldest will play online for ever. I will spend over 100 hours finding new ways to kill people on dishonored.
As long as they all kill lots of generic bad guys with guns, knives, and explosions and there’s at least a hint of a plot, it should be ok. Or at least that’s what they’re hoping…
Can you imagine what they’ll do if the sequal does well? Expendables 3? Who else will they add?

It is, but I don’t know why they have a young Dos Equis guy in there too.

Roddy Piper, of course. Maybe Carl Weathers? If they could get a cameo featuring a retired Dirty Harry Callahan, forget it. Instant Oscar nod. Ha!

Timely interview with producer Avi Lerner lets slip that Clint Eastwood and Harrison Ford have been offered roles in Expendables 3, Nic Cage is in, and Wesley Snipes will be approached after his release (he was originally earmarked to play Hale Caesar):

Confirmed: Joss Whedon is writing and directing Avengers 2.
Fox is apparently running out of time to make a Daredevil reboot. They have until October the 10th to start filming a new movie or forfeit the rights, allowing Marvel to bring The Man Without Fear into their ever-expanding universe.
Marvel have offered up a compromise, allowing Fox an extension in exchange for giving up Galactus and Silver Surfer, but Fox have refused, stating that they plan to use both in the FF reboot (to be directed by Chronicle helmer Josh Trank).
Fox may yet get a pass…if Marvel are interested in co-financing a Daredevil movie. Joe Carnahan is interested in directing the movie for Fox, but the clock is ticking…
Update: Joe Carnahan has confimed via Twitter that Daredevil is back in the loving arms of Marvel. He also released a pitch reel with a decidely '70s feel:

The only thing they should keep is the same King Pin.
Not sure about this. Michael Clark Duncan did a great job, but I am not sure if I could buy a black man running New York in the 70’s. If they didn’t go retro, I would absolutely agree.
Still, I cannot think of anyone better, and it is a superhero movie so “suspension of disbelief” can accomplish a lot.
I’ve finally started running thru AC2 for the 2nd time – which feels like the 1st time again, since I’d forgotten ~90% of it – and good to see they’re still raising the bar with these.
