Well the writer is a scify author so I would not say full out cliche. But at this point really kind of hard to be “New” in scify.
I dont know what you like so can not comment on your last question. This was below the radar for me, I picked it up after watching a 15 minute video on IGN. Its fun. I will keep it for more than just a beat it and trade it in. Replay is high, cause I have gone total melee warrior and I can go back and play as range wizard.

Skyrim + God of War is something you hear often when describing KOA.
Due to the open world RPG ( not as open as skyrim, but still very open ). The combat is combo heavy so people compare it to GoW.
I like the game, on Hard the combat is challenging, unless you uber craft your EQ. Then it’s a bit easy at early levels.

I have the exact same opinion. I want more Cheetara, more Panthro and more Wily Kit and Wily Kat. Liono is pissing me off with the “boy becoming a man” bullshit. I guess I can see why they made him a “grown up with a child’s mind” in the original.
Panthro needs his own side story.
