I just saw a preview for the Dark Shadows remake (not sure if it would be classified as a remake or a reboot). It looks like it might do the franchise justice, even though I am not that big a fan of Johnny Depp (he is playing Barnabas Collins). Now I really want to watch the original series, but they don’t even play reruns anymore.

I was actually a fan of the Dark Shadows remake series in the early 90’s (yes yes super cheesy) & the original. Worried that this one might of gotten the full Beatlejuice. . .if you know what I mean.

I hate Tim Burton and hsi cookie-cutter movies.

That goth shit he does is old.

He must have ordered too much body paint for Edward Scissorhands because Depp is white in every single movie they collaborate on.

The Duke of Depp explains why he’s wearing a dead bird on his head in The Lone Ranger:

Geek fact: The Lone Ranger is the great uncle of Britt Reid, aka The Green Hornet. Hornet and Kato are meant to be a modern day Lone Ranger and Tonto. Don’t expect Depp to be the sidekick, though: Disney are pushing this as Tonto’s movie.

Walking Dead hits PSN today.

Worst part is it doesn’t come out for over a year.

I still need to get the Origins collection for my PS3 so I can play Ghost of Sparta and Chains of Olympus.[/quote]

So is this set before he is bound to ares or during when he is bond the ares but hasnt killed his family?

Wind through the keyhole just released today.

Its supposedly similar to wizard and glass, focusing more on Roland Deschain’s past. Gonna pick it up after work tomorrow.

I saw it here at my bookstore but I have the power to resist any hardcover…so I’ll get it in a year I guess.

I’ll read his JFK book 11/22/63 in a few months I guess.

Yep - 5 episodes at $5 each - episode 1 is out now, each subsequent episode comes out 1 month after the previous. Or $20 for all 5 if you buy them all now.

Is it just for one person? Say I paid for me could one of my kids play it? Or do you have to pay $5 for them also?

I think you can download stuff from PSN on 2 consoles now (it used to be 5 but Sony changed the rules). All you have to do to “share” it is buy/download it with one PSN account, then log into that account on the 2nd system, and re-download it from your purchase history on the PSN store page. Once it’s installed on the system, anyone should be able to play it, even if they aren’t logged into the PSN account that bought it.

Also I just noticed there is a demo in the PSN store if you want to try it out first.

Awesome as soon as the NFL draft is done going to down load this.

I will be revisiting Arkham City on May 29th - hopefully the Harley Quinn DLC is only $10, but I’m sure I’ll still buy it even at $15. Plus you get to play as Robin and not just on the challenge maps this time.

I think I will buy the first episode just to see how it goes.

They are selling the whole series for 5 bucks less than if you buy each separately.

This movie will be the Corniest, Campiest Seinor Citizen Romp Fest the world has ever seen. I can’t wait, I’ll likely see it twice the same day.

I played the demo and decided to buy the whole series.

The control scheme is unique and takes a while to get the hang of - I failed the first quick time event zombie encounter way too many times in the demo for someone who has played Heavy Rain, God of War, ect as much as I have.

I really like the art and gameplay style, it’s like an interactive choose your own adventure comic.

I remember reading about it and was very intrigued. I have to be out of town a lot next two weeks for work, so I am hesitant to buy now.
