Thank the gods

Avengers vs X-Men has started two parts of the storyline came out yesterday Avengers 24.1(I fucking hate the .1 shit) and A vs X 0. In the Avengers issue we are given a brief rehash of Avengers Diassambled and the Vision’s destruction at the hands of She-Hulk, he has been repaired and is getting up to date on House of M the Civil War etc. He then decides to find his estranged wife Wanda the Scarlet Witch(the person responsible for House of M, descimation, and Avengers Disassembled). Vision confronts Magneto on Utopia(the island nation of the mutants). All hell breaks loose with Magneto commenting he could destroy the metal Vision and the Vision saying yeah but my arm is holding your heart(Vision has the power to control his desnity becoming intangable or solid as diamond). The stalemate ends and Magneto using his powers throws Vision past the Golden Gate Bridge. Back in New York Cap pissed off confronts Vision who finally shows emotions and breaks down.
In A vs X 0 it is broken up into two parts an Avengers book and an X-Men book. In the Avengers part A.I.M and M.O.D.O.K is after an A.I.M scientist who has defected to Wakanda before the death blow can be given someone comes to his aid and the next page reveals The Scarlet Witch. M.O.D.O.K and the Witch begin their fighting with the A.I.M scientist supreme commenting on how she is a pariah and he wonders what the bounty would be to take her in. Out of the blue two Avengers show up Ms Marvel and Spider-Woman, A.I.M is quickly dealt with and Ms Marvel insists Wanda goes to Avengers Mansion and say hello. When they get to the mansion all hell breaks loose, the Vision(see above) basically informs her this is no longer her home and she has no place there etc etc. We then see the Vision walk away crying
In the X-Men related part, Cyclops is confronting Hope(the first mutant born since M day), we find out Hope has been leaving Utopia and fighting crime. After a shouting match Hope asks who the Pheonix is, she knows that the Pheonix entity is coming for her and no one has told her any of it. They fight and Hope using her mutant power(the ability to mimic another mutants power) blasts Cyclops with his own optic blasts and she leaves for California. On her police scanner she hears about a break in with a hostage situation and she confronts the Serpent Society, she kicks their asses and is laying into one member when Cyclops stops her and the story ends with The Pheonix out in space coming to earth.
It looks like this book might tie up a lot of loose ends from several of the larger crossover events House of M, and Decimation, and it also looks like people are going to need a little info on what has happened before. Those that want to read this might want to check out House of M, X-Men Messiah Complex, Messiah War, and Avengers X-Sanction to get caught up on what is going on
Anyone else read this?
Rumors are both the next Xbox and PlayStation will block/limit used games.
So, can anyone recommend a good gaming PC set-up for me?
Finally finished arkham asylum now its finally time for arkham city.

I had my doubts about AvsX because let’s face it when two or more heroes fight they usually resolve their differences and everythign goes back to status quo; I don’t see this happening here I see some major issues developing for both teams. My only hope is Marvel doesn’t jump from this major crossover to another, it just plain pisses me off when they do that

Barely. Took me 5 minutes to read it all.
Just watched the first episode of Season 2 Earth’s Mightiest Avengers. It starts out with a debate over Thor’s Godhood. I guess everyone in the world are a bunch of atheist science geeks. They even called him the Prince of Thunder instead of the God of Thunder. Fucking lame.

I did like the little Human Torch Captain America joke.
Cap to Torch “Who are you again?”
I was a little disapointed with Ultimate Spiderman too much slapstick comedy for my taste

News on Captain AMerica 2 and a brief synopsis I’m hoping for a little Winter Soldier action

Asgardians aren’t gods. They were regarded as gods, but it was later revealed that they aren’t actually immortal, just have extremely long lifespans.
Because of the similarities, I wouldn’t have a problem with anyone calling him the God of Thunder as an honorary label (especially cuz of his hammer). Not being an actual god doesn’t make Thor any less awesome in my book, ftr.

True story, they’re already limiting the consoles with a new generation of discs.

I keep hearing this too, but I bet they don’t completely block used games. More like you’ll have to pay a fee to tie the game to your psn/live account, you know cause Microsoft and Sony are pretty hard up for cash these days.
What really pisses me off is the fact that they want to require you to be online to play at all. And what happens when PSN goes down for 6 months again or your internet is out? Fucking stupid.
You know everyone said it was great but I just played my first hour of arkham city and holy shit that is amazing. I did a few story missions but had so much fun just dicking around the city and bitch slapping random thugs.

I spent a good deal of my vacation around Christmas time playing it. I thought the story was too short since I beat it in 2 days - until I realized I had played 10+ hours over those 2 days.
I then spent the next week hunting the Riddler trohpies/challenges just so I could beat him and that probably took me 2x as long as it did to beat the main story. I collected all of them in Arkham Asylum, but they seemed much harder in Arkham City - I collected just enough (400ish) to unlock the final Riddler room (I actually found Riddler’s final room early in the game and was pissed there was clearly a door in detective vision I couldn’t open).
The Riddler rooms were probably my favorite part of the game.
