People who are British are claiming they are offended and do not want a game where they kill their own people.

This game has always had templars playing both sides of the field…and his mission is to track and kill them and change the course of history.

If you are already claiming you, first, know he is a Native American (how do you know he isn’t half NA and half British?), and that the game is bullshit because of who he fights…you n eed to relax.

Played through ME3.

Spoiler Alert:

Is there a secret ending which doesn’t suck?

I mean, really? I got through all that shit (1, 2 and 3), beating the odds again and again, enduring the railroading in ME2 (cerberus) and the stupid-ass council and all that… Murdering the fuck out of more enemies than there are normal people in the universe… Only to end up with that weird kid presenting me with 3 choices which all unequivocally suck? And I can’t even convince him to maybe chill out and just be nice to people… Or… I dunno… Punch him in the face without killing all other synthetics… Or something?

Lucky Joker though… He ended up crash-landing on a nice jungle planet with EDI and Tali (who I thought got vapiorized along with most of me in the final charge, but apparently decided that love only went so far and thus headed straight to the normandy instead, forgoing a major reaper-death-ray-induced sunburn).
Oh, and in his last moments, Shepard thinks first of Joker (uh, out of the left field much? Maybe there’s something you’d like to tell us, Shepard? I played a male fwiw), and then Anderson and Liara. Apparently regardless of who your love interest was, who you talked to most to or whatever. Kind of strange.

Also, so we finally get to see Tali’s face, sort of. And the developers apparently didn’t think that her picture may be worth a higher texture resolution than one of the desks or something. Or is that thanks to the whole console thing…

Had a lot of fun playing it (multiplayer is so bugged with no-damage/no-pickup bugs that it’s just no fun though, yet)… But… It was a great deal shorter than I’d have liked, and not finding out what happens to all my buddies afterwards kind of sucked.

Typical Bioware Ending ™ BS. See NWN2. Killed off the series with no real closure and forcing you into choosing between 3 bad endings (which are fairly similar in the way they play out) and no good one. So weird and unsatisfying if you’ve spent 100+ hours on all three games combined…

RE C_C’s ME3 Spoilers

I just started playing ME3 now, and I am braced for feeling shitty.

It looks like the leaked scripts are holding up and Bioware is going for making the player feel bad no matter what.

I compared the ME series to FarScape in the other thread and it looks like it is going to make me feel the way that series did with its ending (pre-PeaceKeeper wars).

I am wondering if there is going to be a Fallout 3/Broken Steel type add on where they rescue the ending.

I get the feeling Bioware’s highwater mark for plot/ending/complexity was Dragon Age Origins.

I find the lack of Jack in Mass Effect 3 disturbing. She was the hottest and the most useful character in ME2. I wish I knew why the Bioware writers thought it was a good idea to make her a NPC.

Superman vs The Elite coming in June the DVD cover has been released as well as the extra features. This Superman cartoon will be followed by Batman the Dark Knight Returns 1. I assume DKR will be a two parter to make sure it is totally faithful to the Millar work. My hope is DC will adapt more iconic storylines to animation like Judas Contract or my favorite series of all time Crisis on Infinate Earts

DC has been on a roll with Animation films. I’m on the shelf with this one. It looks a bit to…cartoonie…I will give it another look maybe I judge to quick.
